Not bad. It's located at the very end of Waikiki Beach, which makes it relatively quiet, but it's super convenient for walking to the beach and finding places to eat right outside. It's next to the Halekulani and Sheraton, so the overall surroundings are quite nice. Facilities: They're okay. It looks like it's been recently renovated, but the bathroom is small and doesn't have a bathtub. The balcony faces the pool downstairs, and you can hear live music at night. Environment: The beach is pretty small, but I was pleasantly surprised to see sea turtles in the morning! Service: The hotel offers a lot of activities, some free and some paid, so you can pick and choose. At check-in, you get a towel card, which lets you borrow only two towels per day, and you have to pay if you lose the card. Parking is very expensive.

I have no complaints at all - this might be the perfect resort at this price point. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are excellent (albeit maybe a bit on the small side for three persons, and we did miss not having a barhtub), the view excellent (description said “ocean view” and it was better than expected, even from the Pacific Tower), restaurants both great. The location is perfect, just a few min walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center; and the hotel has its own /small/ beach with really a good view of the sunset. Big shoutout to the very friendly staff at Monkeypod Kitchen as well as the poolside Towel Hut! Would revisit without a doubt!

From the moment we arrived we were impressed by how friendly the staff was. Lots of shops amazing resturants. Everything was clean. We had a great stay while waiting to board our cruise ship.
