Extraordinary staff and hospitality. Mesmerisingly beautiful place, especially the common areas and a really nice and complete breakfast. Nonetheless, significant areas of the hotel need restoration and care. Including inside some rooms. This hiccups didn’t stain our stay as the staff made their absolute best to make us comfortable and happy.

The hotel is beautiful but looks a bit in need of renovation. It has beautiful corners for photos, and the bar and terraces are gorgeous. the dinner and breakfast were very well served and it had a fantastic wine cellar.

This hotel offers a truly special experience, allowing you to stay in a palace surrounded by forest. During the off-season, it's incredibly quiet, and if you go early for breakfast, you'll practically have the place to yourself. The building is historic, but the rooms and common areas are clean, and the staff are attentive. The plumbing and Wi-Fi are a bit weak, and the hair dryers are basic, but it doesn't detract from the atmosphere. Recommended for those who want to enjoy Bussaco wine and nature walks, or those who want to spend a peaceful anniversary.

The environment must be good, but the room facilities are indeed too old. It is worthwhile to take photos, videos and check in. The breakfast is rich.

Worth a try, a real palace hotel, a display of stone and wood carving art, with elaborate and luxurious furnishings. The garden is a French regular pattern, carefully maintained. The area of the suite is much larger than the marked area. The butler service is in place. The dinner food is sufficient, the only drawback is that the cod is salty, and the shrimp rice is also salty, and I didn't finish the two dishes
