Unkept place, outdated and stains and burns on carpet, bad smells in room. Unfortunately this motel is a dump. Also too expensive for a low end place. Other la Quinta places better...

We got in and were welcomed up to standard expectations. No fuss and straight to the point for a quick check in. The room was nice and spacious. Hot water for shower was appreciated. It seemed like the toilet was in a continually flushing state, but maybe the knob was just a little off because it wasn't always like that when fiddled with. Vending machine needs a longer vending time for some items to properly drop, but it's a vending machine afterall. We didn't get to the pool area, but we did get breakfast. We were a little late to it, but one of the staff let us have the leftover sausage and eggs which was much appreciated. I think that was the wow factor for us as we really had no expectation of getting anything for our error. The next breakfast day was also very nice and we enjoyed the refreshments on time. We also had a bit of trouble with our cards on one return, but the front desk quickly helped us out and explained how to keep them safer from getting deactivated by keeping them away from phones and magnets. There are several restaurants and a dunkNdonuts nearby as well as a gas station, which was convenient. There is even extra parking near La Quinta. All in all we had a good stay and may think about staying here again if we swing by rhode island. I recommend exploring Warwick as it's a nice Centerpoint to get around Rhode Island. We were particularly interested in the historical mansions down south east among the smaller isles, which were roughly an hour or less away.

The water pressure in room 427 was extremely low, making even a shower uncomfortable. I hope it will be improved next time I go.

I was given a room that was already being occupied. When I walked into the room I was threatened by the individual. I left the hotel as I did not feel safe there. The front desk staff was not helpful

Issues at this location I have never seen before at a La Quinta. In our first room, our bathroom did not have a doorknob on the inside, which I did not notice until I had already shut the door behind me. The door then locked, and I was trapped inside for nearly a half hour while we were waiting for maintenance. Myself and my travel companion were able to get free through a lot of fiddling with the door—maintenance never showed up despite being “5 minutes” out. We were moved to a different room of course, but our new room had its own set of issues. Our toilet’s inner plug mechanism had to be manually pushed down in order for the tank to fill each time we flushed. The shower had very poor temperature control—either it was scalding, untouchably hot or it was lukewarm. Most concerningly, there was a soft spot on the floor next to the HVAC unit that was welling up with water whenever you stepped near it, and the unit itself was leaking. At that point, myself and my travel companion were not willing to cause any more headache for the staff member who helped us. I have never had issues with a La Quinta during travel and it is my budget hotel chain of choice, but this has greatly diminished the respect I had for this chain. We will not be returning.

The only aspects of this stay that weren't a disappointment were the actual check-in and check-out. I don't believe I had clean linens, since I found several pink hairs in the sheets. The shower did not build enough water pressure, and the shower drain backed up almost immediately. I know there was a huge snow storm in the area recently, but it did not appear that they performed adequate snow removal.

The room was in bad shape water damage on the ceiling. Stains on floor and blankets. Handmarks on the headboard .misc little gross things around the room. Also very thin walls. Can hear things in the parking lot aswell as people stomping down the hall. Not enough parking had to make a spot. Staff was nice and helpful tho.
