Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel 1968

The service was good. The place is picturesque, great for photos. It's centrally located, making it convenient to go anywhere, and we had a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast and afternoon tea were also delicious.

The room was decent, and the location was good. We arrived quite late, but were still able to get coffee. The staff provided excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changsha. The hotel was also very quiet and peaceful.

Staying at Xiangjiang Hotel 1968, located near Wuyi Square during my trip to Changsha, far exceeded my expectations and was the biggest surprise of my entire journey. The hotel staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service; check-in was quick and smooth, and all my requests were promptly met with care and discretion. The room environment was outstanding, with decor blending vintage charm and modern comfort. The entire room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly even in the bustling city center. The amenities were carefully chosen, making for a truly delightful stay. The dining arrangements were a major highlight. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, and the authentic Changsha freshly-cooked rice noodles were superb, instantly delivering a true local flavor. The complimentary afternoon tea was exquisite and delicious, with carefully selected pastries, making for a relaxing break. What was most heartwarming was the thoughtful late-night snack, a warm treat that was both comforting and healing after a night out. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Wuyi Square and the Xiangjiang River, making it extremely convenient for getting around. From service and rooms to the daily meals, everything was impeccable, offering incredible value for money. Next time I visit Changsha, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! I traveled with my parents and children, and we booked two different room types, both of which were great. I've already booked our next trip's accommodation here again!

The service was excellent. Before we even checked in, the hotel created a service group chat and contacted us daily to arrange room cleaning and afternoon tea. The mini-bar was also restocked with drinks and jellies that the kids loved. The environment is wonderful, full of historical charm everywhere you look. The rooms, after renovation, are very comfortable. Right outside, there's a bustling night market, but the hotel's location is perfect – a quiet oasis in the midst of the lively area, so our room was very peaceful for resting. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with a set menu plus self-service options. The kids really enjoyed the pan-fried beef short ribs, and the adults can choose the very flavorful dry-mixed rice noodles.

This place truly captures the local vibe, number one! I absolutely loved its classical beauty. It's so convenient for getting around, right next to a food street and Wuyi Square. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changsha. Thank you, the service was excellent, and the desserts were fantastic too!
