Sofitel Singapore City Centre

The room was very new and spacious, especially the bathroom, which was huge with excellent wet/dry separation. I was very pleased to find a full-length mirror. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered great views of the pool and the Zhonghao Asia Hotel, perfect for photos. The hotel and its surroundings were quiet, elegant, and not noisy at all, yet the location was fantastic, right above the subway station. It was super convenient for exploring the nearby area and taking the subway to attractions. The front desk staff spoke Chinese during check-in, were very friendly, and even recommended we try the durian at the nearby 99 Old Trees, which was absolutely delicious. The hotel itself wasn't crowded and remained very quiet, not noisy at all. I highly recommend it and would definitely consider staying here again next time. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning, when set higher, had a slight odor. However, it was fine when set to 24 degrees, and the front desk mentioned during check-out that we could have asked them to fix it earlier, so I don't see it as a major issue. I strongly recommend this hotel!

The room was very spacious, and all the furnishings, appliances, and bedding had a touch of luxury. It was clean and bright, which made for a very pleasant stay. The breakfast had a good selection of desserts, and the Western breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the cheese platter and the juices. The pool was good, and swimming in the afternoon was very comfortable. Choosing this place for a vacation was a wise decision.

The room was clean, and the toiletries were L'Occitane, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent, right in the city center. The room was also very spacious with a decent high-floor view. No complaints there. However, I noticed the overall rating for this place isn't very high, so I'm wondering if my experience was just exceptionally good. Next time, I'd like to try out The Ritz-Carlton or Mandarin Oriental, which also have a 4.7 rating, for a comparison.

Fantastic! The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the pool was great. Being right by the subway is incredibly convenient for tourists.
