Make the Red Horse Mountain Ranch your next must-visit destination. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment we rolled in, the staff welcomed us like long lost friends. Every wrangler, cook and ranch hand were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell this isn't a job to them, it is a way of life and love sharing it with guests. The horses were absolute gems-well-cared-for, well trained and perfectly matched to each rider's experience. You had the same horse all week so we became fast friends. Whether you are a first-time rider or seasoned equestrians you will find the rides exhilarating. Our 8 year old grand daughter loved every minute of it and wanted to take her horse, Oakley, home with us! The accommodations were a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept very well each night. The food? Outrageously good. Every meal was hearty and home made. There was a great selection of snacks and drinks in between meal times. No one was ever hungry! Days at the ranch had so many adventures included it was hard to do them all. Some of things we did were zip lining, a challenge course, kayaking, swimming, archery, clay shooting and so much more. Besides this there is a very robust children's program. Our grand daughter met friends the first day and she had the time of her life. Riding, art, games, secret camps, way to many things to name. We have been to other dude ranches but RHMR has them all beat! What sets this place apart is the feeling it leaves you with. You come for the experience, but you leave with a sense of connection-to the land, the people and even a part of yourself you forgot existed. RHMR delivers a life-affirming experience and we will be back! The Scott Family
