My friend and I went for Red Horse’s designated women’s week and had the best time. Everything was extremely organized from the booking process, to the schedule of activities to choose from each day, to the meals, and the horse you’re assigned with for the week. (I had the pleasure of being paired up with Rick James all week) The staff were all very personable and seemed genuinely happy to be there doing their jobs. The horses are well cared for, there are a good variety of rides to choose from all week, and the additional activities you can choose to do are super fun too. It was like being at horse camp for adults. Food was great too and you will not be hungry and there is a different evening activity every night and they were all fun. It’s been a month and I’ve still been telling family and friends about how great it was. My friend is not nearly as into horses as I am, and she also loved the whole experience. If you’re looking for a dude ranch, I highly recommend this one.

A ranch trip was always on my bucket list. I reviewed many options before booking with RHMR. I after many calls and emails to the ranch I decide this was the best ranch. I was a solo traveler for part of my trip as my daughter needed to go back to work. Everyone made me so comfortable and part of the group. The trip I selected was an adult only week. I'm so happy with the decision. Mandy reservations manager along with other office staff was amazing. They were so accommodating and patient as I planned my trip. The ranch staff, food lodging and activities were top notch. The horses were absolutely beautiful and well cared for. There were 38 guests the week of my trip which was perfect. Not overcrowded. I met some of the best people from far and wide. the accommodations were clean and well maintained. The food was absolutely amazing. The activities that were offered was perfect. There was something for everyone. I can't say enough about the experience. The ranch had a campfire night with great entertainment, wine night with a 6 course meal. The Jam Shack band in the Saloon was the best of the best. We had so much fun. I would highly recommend this ranch. RHMR has figured it out to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your trip. I can't say enough about RHMR. Sharree Keppler

When this opportunity came up, I feared I would be bored. WRONG. I am a long time equestrian and this vacation wowed me to my core. From the wranglers side we had, Ashland, Caroline, indigo, J West, Hopper!, Rian, Tyler and then of course the barn and herd managers Jonah and Annaka. They did a demo the first day about general horse education and even I learned a couple things. It was extremely refreshing. The rides were amazing and so fun (especially when you know how to do your thing). Our bartender Chelsea was the sweetest kindest soul, and everyone in the kitchen can cook their butts off. Hospitality was also so so phenomenal and accommodating. Laura bartended our last night and down at the campfire and boy can she do her job! A huge thank you to Jessica, Emily, raelynn, paeton, Bella, Sydni & Jenna for being so ontop of the hospitality side! And lastly..but not least. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mandy. To going above and beyond to completely make our vacation. You feel like family now and we hope to come back just to visit. Thank you, truly thank you. Aaron (Maggie) & Bridget (Dave)

We took a group of 9 people - 6 adults and children ages 10, 8 and 2. Not sure that "all inclusive" in the description captures the variety and quality of food provided! The working adults greatly benefitted from the ranch environment and ability to relax. The kids program worked really well with the girls 10 and 8. Riding instruction (optional), guided trail rides of varying difficulty, great schedule of activities. and more. Lots of places to sit and meditate or appreciate nature. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our week at RHMR immensely! We can't say enough about the amazing staff, the excellent food, and the gorgeous views. RHMR strikes the perfect balance between diverse scheduled activities and relaxing downtime. It was a wonderful week, and it was hard to leave.

Make the Red Horse Mountain Ranch your next must-visit destination. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment we rolled in, the staff welcomed us like long lost friends. Every wrangler, cook and ranch hand were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell this isn't a job to them, it is a way of life and love sharing it with guests. The horses were absolute gems-well-cared-for, well trained and perfectly matched to each rider's experience. You had the same horse all week so we became fast friends. Whether you are a first-time rider or seasoned equestrians you will find the rides exhilarating. Our 8 year old grand daughter loved every minute of it and wanted to take her horse, Oakley, home with us! The accommodations were a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept very well each night. The food? Outrageously good. Every meal was hearty and home made. There was a great selection of snacks and drinks in between meal times. No one was ever hungry! Days at the ranch had so many adventures included it was hard to do them all. Some of things we did were zip lining, a challenge course, kayaking, swimming, archery, clay shooting and so much more. Besides this there is a very robust children's program. Our grand daughter met friends the first day and she had the time of her life. Riding, art, games, secret camps, way to many things to name. We have been to other dude ranches but RHMR has them all beat! What sets this place apart is the feeling it leaves you with. You come for the experience, but you leave with a sense of connection-to the land, the people and even a part of yourself you forgot existed. RHMR delivers a life-affirming experience and we will be back! The Scott Family
