The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort

The room was a bit below expectations, but seeing such a beautiful sea made it all worthwhile. After all, you can't expect too much on an island. The hotel facilities are very well-maintained, but the breakfast selection was a little limited.

This was a fantastic trip, with soft sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Our butler, Cara, was incredibly thoughtful and recommended many activities suitable for children. It was a great experience! It's a shame it wasn't turtle season, but I'll definitely come back next time to see the turtles!

The environment was decent, and the snorkeling was great. Service was also good, but my son and husband were covered in bites from some unknown creatures in our room on the island. They were very itchy and uncomfortable. There were ants everywhere, so definitely bring effective ointment.

Getting to Redang Island was much more of an effort than Langkawi. It involved a 50-minute taxi ride from the airport to Merang Jetty, followed by a 40-60 minute speedboat transfer to the island. When the waves were high, it was quite an exhilarating ride! However, the beautiful views at the hotel after such a journey made it all worthwhile. Since it's the low season, the hotel isn't crowded, and many activities aren't available. Nevertheless, my kids had a fantastic time playing on the beach and in the pool. A special shout-out to Ms. Cara, the hotel's Chinese-speaking director, who was incredibly helpful in resolving various issues. The snorkeling here is excellent. Because of the low season, all three meals had to be eaten at the hotel, which became a bit repetitive after a while.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel's food was delicious, and the service was excellent with very enthusiastic staff. The beach was beautiful and great for surfing, plus the hotel offered many activities. It's perfect for a relaxing vacation.

The room was great, a classic resort hotel. The bathroom fixtures were all TOTO, and there were no mosquitoes. They even upgraded my room for free! Free welcome evening cocktails and snacks were a nice touch. The sea was beautiful and blue. I'll definitely come back.
