The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort

We had a wonderful stay at The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort in Redang. From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, everything was perfect. A very special thank you to Bryan, who took care of us throughout our stay. He was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful from beginning to end, always making sure everything was taken care of and responding so quickly whenever we needed anything. We would also like to thank the entire Taaras team for their exceptional attention, warm hospitality, great sense of service and responsiveness. Everyone we met was genuinely friendly and professional, and it really made our stay feel special. A very big thank you as well to the Diving & Activities team. We had the opportunity to see sea turtles in their natural environment, as well as an incredible variety of marine life and beautiful corals. It was truly one of the highlights of our stay and an unforgettable experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful resort with an amazing location! 🌴 We stayed for 2 nights with our 3-year-old toddler and had a wonderful time. The service and food were excellent, with great food options for toddlers. The chefs were very helpful and even customized dishes according to our child’s preferences. ❤️ The kids’ play area was also a great help in keeping our little one entertained. It’s definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would love to visit again! 🌊✨

The most horrid appalling experience at a hotel. It is criminal to charge a proper 5 star fee for this. Forget western standards, seamless, smooth, sleek and immaculate sophistication one expects at 600e per night. Instead you will get Macarena shouting out of speakers at 9pm or pop songs sung out of tune at the shabby bar, trash on the floor in the “dining” areas, if you can call them that because they feed you airplane food, infinitely degraded facilities from a to a in dire need of total renovation, a buzzing sound of the fridge stocked with cans of coke and sprite at night instead of the waves and very poor English communication from the staff.  The location does not justify coming here, the sea is lovely but at this point let’s wait and go to Thailand or the Maldives in a little while. It would be a waste of your nerves, avoid at ALL COSTS. This place is a catastrophe.
