Atour Hotel IFS Chunxi Road Chengdu

The hotel is really close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, and the subway station is within walking distance, making it super convenient for both dining out and sightseeing. The bedding is comfortable, breakfast is plentiful, and the service is excellent.

A wonderful trip, with Atour by my side... The breakfast, while not as varied as I'd imagined, was clean and the taste was decent. The only minor drawback is that there are only two elevators, which is too few. The waiting time is a bit long every time! But it's understandable during peak season.

The hotel is right by Taikoo Li, which is the most bustling area in Chengdu. It's also convenient for getting to many places. The hotel is on a main road, so I thought it would be noisy at night, but it was surprisingly quiet, and I slept really well. Overall, it's excellent, and I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

There were cockroaches, and the bathroom had absolutely no ventilation. The poor service rating is for the restaurant aunties, but the front desk staff were great! The morning restaurant staff were quite casual, and a few of the aunties in the breakfast restaurant had bad attitudes. They even ate alongside the guests, grabbing food here and there. On June 26th, there was a soy milk machine dispenser next to the drinks, but no label. I casually asked what was inside, and she very rudely replied that it was just boiled water. It wasn't labeled as boiled water, and it could have been soy milk, so why can't I ask?

Traveling during the off-peak season, I was lucky enough to get an upgrade! 🩷 The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly nice! The food was delicious 😋 and having a washing machine and dryer was super convenient 🩷 Malaysian friends, you absolutely *must* choose this hotel! Plus, they even gave me a little panda souvenir to take home! 🥳
