My friends and I were pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of the rooms and the amenities provided. We also greatly appreciate how close the hotel is to Wan Chai MTR Station, rather centrally located to Causeway Bay, Central and Admiralty areas. We were pleasantly surprised how affordable the buffet breakfast was, which was quite a spread.

The room was quite spacious, which is rare to find in Hong Kong. There are good restaurants nearby and it's not far from the MTR. However, I asked for extra pillows and was told they would be sent up immediately, but they never arrived all night. The second time I called, no one picked up.

For a Hong Kong hotel, the room size is quite generous! The transportation around is convenient, with Wedding Card Street right behind and close to the old district, which makes it a bit too down-to-earth. The value for money is decent, I guess. All Hong Kong hotels seem to have that musty smell, even the JW Marriott I stayed at before had it.

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the MTR station, requiring a stroll through an alley full of markets. The lobby is quite small, but you can store your luggage if you arrive early. The facilities are a bit old, and the room was very damp, with the duvet feeling wet. The detailed cleaning was not up to par. The hotel claims to follow Hong Kong's plastic ban by not providing bottled water, but then again, the plastic ban also prohibits single-use toiletries, which the hotel still provides. So, not providing bottled water seems more like a cost-saving measure. I wouldn't recommend using the in-room filtered water dispenser. It's quite a step down compared to hotels in mainland China. The service was mediocre; they only delivered half of my requested items one night and forgot the rest.

We loved the location in busy Wan Chai, with a great choice of restaurants and public transport (round HK-Island bus to Stanley, then around to Aberdeen and Central right in front, MTR as well as the tram for a East-West city tour just 100m away). The very clean, large room has a nice layout and beautiful decoration, we also enjoyed those amazing views. Breakfast has a bit more western touch than others, its well trained restaurant staff is pleasantly attentative. Sadly the rooftop pool was undergoing maintenance, still, we’d highly recommend the Indigo.

Great value for money, and it's an IHG hotel. It's located behind the Wan Chai wet market, and the rooms are quite spacious. Wan Chai MTR station is about a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast is pretty basic, so there's no need to book a room with breakfast included, as there are plenty of good food options nearby.

Out of all the Indigo hotels I've stayed at, the Hong Kong one is pretty mediocre, on par with a budget hotel like Hanting (Hampton by Hilton in China), nothing more. The front desk requires a cash deposit or a credit card pre-authorization. This time I forgot my card and opted for Alipay, and then the hotel did something truly baffling: they came to my room and cleared out all the mini-bar items... 😂😂😂😂😂 I don't understand what kind of logic makes them think I'd try to swindle them out of those practically worthless mini-bar snacks. 😅😅😅 Also, the electrical outlets in this hotel are old-fashioned and very scarce, and they don't even provide complimentary drinking water, which was another surprise. I wouldn't recommend adding breakfast; there's hardly anything to eat, just some bread and a few pre-packaged dishes, with no local specialties whatsoever. The location is decent, on Queen's Road East, right near Wan Chai MTR station. Hong Kong's service industry really needs to step up its game.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Wan Chai MTR station. It took us about half an hour to get there from West Kowloon Station. Plus, there are plenty of places to eat and shop right downstairs. The room itself is very spacious, especially for Hong Kong standards! I searched high and low to find a twin room with two 1.2-meter beds like this, and it's definitely worth the price, haha! They even gave us complimentary drinks at the sky bar, which my friend and I enjoyed in the evening. The bedding was really comfortable, and it was so quiet that my girlfriend and I actually slept for 12 hours straight, completely missing breakfast! The mini-bar is a paid service, though.
