Jasmine 59 Hotel

I only stayed two nights and was honestly relieved to leave. They initially told me I received a “room upgrade,” but the layout was poorly designed. The wardrobe was positioned behind a door, making it extremely awkward to access. After raising this, they moved me back to another room. The rooms are spacious, but functionality is surprisingly poor. There are barely any power sockets, which makes charging a phone and laptop inconvenient. There’s also no outlet in the bathroom, so even something basic like using a hair dryer is impractical. The shower head was low quality and kept slipping/falling off during use. Small detail, but very frustrating. The gym is limited, and the sauna/onsen area felt messy and uninviting. I chose not to use it. The “king bed” is essentially two beds pushed together, with a hard ridge in the middle, which is uncomfortable. Positives: good natural light and a nice view if you open the curtains. Location is decent, close to Sukhumvit and the Thonglor area. However, overall it feels like the hotel focused on room size rather than comfort or design. The high rating on Trip.com doesn’t match my experience. Would not stay again.

The Zen Garden room offers great views of the city skyline, and the hotel itself is pleasant with friendly staff. However, the cleanliness fell short of expectations. After walking around the room, my white socks were noticeably dirty. There were visible spots and stains on the couch, as well as stray body hair in the bathroom.

This hotel was better than expected. Room was very large with seperate kichen area and lounge. They do offer a smoking level if you do smoke. Room was always clean, pool and hot spa was clean and well sized. Pool is mid way up the building so also a lovely view. A wonderful touch is the hotel has its own tuktuks shuttling guests to the nearest BTS station free of charge. We had a great time and would use this hotel again and again.

Stayed one night at Jasmine 59 Hotel in Bangkok with a friend and had a great experience. We booked a twin room with two single beds and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making our short stay very enjoyable. A lovely stay and great value overall.
