The hotel offers great privacy and is about a ten-minute walk from the city center. The breakfast isn't Chinese, so it might not suit everyone. Other than that, the service was genuinely excellent. It's a good choice for those who prefer peace and quiet.

The overall environment was good, and the location was decent. I didn't experience many of the negative things I'd read online, so I was actually quite satisfied. There was just one small hiccup: I think I left my Apple AirPods in the room, but they were never found in the end. Other than that, I thought it was pretty perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in the Two-Bedroom Suite with Coral Lounge access. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and offered a beautiful view—truly a perfect setting with great vibes throughout. The food was excellent, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. A special thank you to the outstanding team members who made our stay even more memorable: Wawa from the Coral Lounge; Da, Bee, Yui, and Bin from Rim Talay; and Saow from the Front Desk. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team for maintaining the room to such a high standard throughout our stay, as well as to the buggy service crew for their prompt and friendly assistance in getting us around the resort. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful Amari souvenir—it was a lovely touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return again.

Very disappointing hotel, expected much more for this price. The hotel itself seems nice at first, but the rooms are VERY old and poorly maintained. Old furniture, poor lighting, and just very low-standard. My first room was on the third floor, (when i checked in, i had to carry the luggage myself up the stairs, no elevator). It had a bath without any glass door, so when taking normal shower, the water leaked everywhere, even reaching the front door of the room. The hotel offered to change me to a room with a standing shower, on the first floor, but in many ways it was even worse. All the rooms floor tiles are extremely old and broken, and also there is a big space gap between the main door and the floor, so you can hear everything outside all the time. Right outside the room is the hotel parking lot, and there is a guard with a whistle constantly blowing on it non-stop. It literally sounds like sleeping next to a basketball court. I couldn’t have a single relaxing moment in the rooms, and every morning woken up early by the noise outside of the door. It is such a simple problem to fix with proper management. There is also unpleasant sewage smell as soon as you walk out of the room. The hotel is massive and with lots of stairs/hills, making it difficult to move around. Most importantly, even though there are two pools and two restaurants, it seems that the hotel is accepting more guests than it is able to cater to. It is almost impossible to find seating near the beach/pool or at the restaurant. Many times at breakfast, i had to stand around until i could get a seat. Too packed and crowded, and LOUD. Hotel restaurant food is good, but the service is not very attentive, and you always have to chase down the waiters. The only thing positive is the gorgeous views from the rooms. Hotel massage was also good. In summary, even though the hotel itself has the potential to be very nice, it feels very mis-managed and not well maintained. I will not be back to this resort.

I've stayed at this hotel three times, and this time, overall, I still think it's good, even though the room assigned wasn't as good as before, and the sea view was quite obstructed by large trees. The first time I stayed was in 2018. Eight years later, the room's sanitary facilities are still very well-maintained; there's no sense of wear and tear. However, the hotel no longer gives out the complimentary hotel-exclusive teddy bear dolls. The club breakfast and afternoon tea were much worse than my previous two visits. The breakfast menu was missing many delicious items. The afternoon tea platter was disappointing; even though it wasn't repetitive over the three days, none of the food was good. The housekeeping, club restaurant, and buggy service staff were all excellent. The hotel has a private beach. Although it's not large, it's not crowded and is very quiet. It's also great for photos. The water in Patong Beach was much cleaner than when I visited in 2020. I heard it was due to the lack of tourists during the pandemic, which allowed for a thorough cleanup. Walking down the slope from the hotel, it's a 5-minute walk straight to Patong Beach. There's a 7-Eleven just 3 minutes away. If you walk straight for 3 minutes, then turn right and walk for another 10 minutes, you'll find a night market that starts setting up stalls in the afternoon. There's a lot of food, and it's cheaper than the Patong Night Market. A tuk-tuk from the hotel to Jungceylon costs 250 to 300 baht. After 8 PM, the price increases for the return trip. Without traffic, it takes about 8 minutes to get there, but during evening rush hour, it can take just under an hour. The hotel front desk didn't inform us that there's a free shuttle to Jungceylon at 1 PM and 7 PM. You need to book in advance, or it might be full. We only remembered this free shuttle service from previous stays on our third day and had to ask about it ourselves. This meant we paid for taxis back and forth for the first few days, so I'm deducting one star for this. The hotel has three swimming pools. I didn't visit the bottom two and only swam at the club pool. There's a popular photo spot in the hotel lobby, but even hotel guests have to buy a drink to take photos there. This is very unaccommodating. I've already paid to stay at the hotel, and I can't even take a picture without an extra charge. So, I'm deducting another star for this. The mini-bar in the club room is only replenished once. There isn't much good food or drink anyway, but only getting it once for a 3 or 5-day stay feels a bit stingy.

Good property and location. But room maintenance needed. A/c wasn't cold upon arrival. Hot water intermittent. Long waiting time for room pick-up buggy service. Better to walk to the lobby on your own.

My stay was pleasant overall, but the breakfast experience was disappointing. I repeatedly observed guests handling buffet food with their bare hands instead of using the provided tongs. Even more concerning, some would touch one item, change their mind, and then touch other food items before making a selection. This is a serious hygiene issue for food shared by all guests. I was surprised that staff did not intervene or remind guests to use the serving utensils. Breakfast seating could also be better managed, as some guests would take seats already occupied by others. Better supervision and enforcement of basic hygiene standards would greatly improve the guest experience.
