IBC Hotel Dongdaemun

This is a great hotel, and the facilities are just like what you'd find back home. They provide a full range of toiletries, so you don't need to bring anything. The cleaning staff does an amazing job every day! Fantastic!

Not far from the subway station, about a 5-6 minute walk, and you can reach most attractions by subway. There's a large E-MART supermarket about 200 meters from the hotel, which is convenient and affordable for buying daily necessities. I even found some delicious shrimp roe rolls there!

The hotel's location is great, it's closest to subway exit 10, and only a five-minute walk. Bus connections are also very convenient, making it quick and easy to get to City Hall and Myeongdong. The small gym is very clean, and the guest rooms are spotless too. However, the service lacks a human touch. On my last day, I called the front desk at 12 PM to ask for a slightly later checkout, and they flat-out refused without any room for discussion. What really got to me was that they didn't even use polite language, just told me to hurry up. Seriously, couldn't they have added a 'please'?

Clean and tidy, with service as good as you'd find back home. It's close to the subway, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast photos look great, but honestly, you wouldn't miss much if you skipped it, as it's the same every day.
