Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing

Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are well-maintained. Cleanliness: Out of three rooms, two had minor issues, and the overall room cleanliness needs improvement. Environment: It's very convenient to walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong.

I really have to give a huge shoutout to the Grand Hyatt! Its excellent location goes without saying – it's convenient for getting anywhere. Every staff member here is incredibly enthusiastic with their service! This time, I was traveling with my parents and child, and we were given connecting rooms. With the connecting door open, it couldn't have been more convenient! During our stay, I urgently needed to print some documents, and the front desk quickly helped me out, which was fantastic! You absolutely *must* try the Napoleon from the Deli on the first floor; I highly recommend it! At checkout, they even gave my child a commemorative room key with their name on it, which was such a thoughtful touch! Next time I'm in Chongqing, I'll definitely stay at the Hyatt again~ ❤️

Our family of four stayed in a Club Family Suite. The living room was very spacious and bright, with large windows offering an expansive view, including a glimpse of the river. Breakfast was decent and not crowded, and the service was quite attentive. We especially appreciated that the hotel mailed back our charging plug, which we had accidentally left in the room. I had been a bit worried before, having seen some online comments about outdated facilities, but after checking in, I found the Club rooms to be quite new, with a simple yet elegant decor that felt comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend it for families. Our whole family agreed that this stay was an excellent experience, exceeding our expectations.

It was pretty good, Hyatt has always been quite reliable. The front desk was excellent, they upgraded our room. The hotel facilities were decent, we took the kids swimming. The location is also very good. Overall, it was fine.

An excellent stay! Whenever I'm in Chongqing, I always choose between the Hyatt and the Westin next door. Overall, the Hyatt offers much better value for money. Both have great locations. The front desk staff were quick and polite during check-in. Although there was a slight unpleasant incident in the room for two of our female companions, the hotel handled the issue very promptly and to our satisfaction. I will definitely choose the Hyatt again on my next visit to Chongqing. Thank you!

The location is a bit awkward, as it's always bustling with people, but it's convenient for getting to various attractions. Breakfast was decent, and the service was okay. However, the room was too small, and there was no view from the window, which didn't really justify the price.

The hotel offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room for Ctrip Black Diamond members, which was a lucky stroke given the room availability; the room was very spacious. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from Jiefangbei, surrounded by many shopping malls and subway stations. The only downside is that taking a taxi can get stuck in traffic. There's also a mall downstairs with a good selection of high-end and mid-range restaurants. The hairdryer in the room was a bit old and difficult to switch on. There were no bed rails for children's beds. One day we heard that breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, but on our last day, when we went at 10:30 AM, we found out it ended at 10:00 AM that day and only managed to get two packed bread boxes. Perhaps breakfast ends at 10:30 AM on weekends and 10:00 AM on weekdays. We stayed for four days. The hotel didn't provide clear enough notifications to guests about the breakfast times. We tried the Napoleon pastry downstairs, which had high reviews online. At 20 yuan per slice, the price was very reasonable, but the taste was just average.

Facilities: Excellent Environment: Excellent Service: Excellent Hygiene: Excellent Overall, the Grand Hyatt Chongqing is great. The hotel's location is excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity to visit Chongqing.
