Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Very disappointed with my stay at Marriott. We booked our room through trip.ccom platform and were shocked to find that our room type had been changed upon arrival without any prior notification or proper explanation. This is the first time I have ever experienced such an issue while traveling, and it completely ruined our travel mood. What was meant to be an enjoyable trip turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. To make matters worse, the manager on duty was unfriendly and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. Instead of showing empathy or trying to resolve the issue, the response felt dismissive and lacking in professionalism. Guests should not have their travel plans disrupted because of issues between the hotel and its booking partners. Overall, the poor handling of this situation and the lack of customer care fell far below the standards I expected from Marriott. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both its communication and customer service practices.

The location of the hotel is quite good with nice views and Whole Foods nearby. I met with the aircon issue and maintenance mgr helped to change a room quickly. Although it was smaller but problem solved promptly.Streams are out of work and cannot be fixed due to holidays.

THE HOTEL LOCATION WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND THE VIEWS WERE TERRIFIC. I THOUGHT HOUSEKEEPLING COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. THE ROOM DID NOT HAVE A CLOCK OR MICROWAVE. BRING YOUR OWN SHOIWER CAP. THERE WAS LIMITED SUITCASE PROVISIONS. THE BREAKFAST WAS WAY TO LIMITED AND NEEDED MUCH IMPROVEMENT. THE FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN WARMER, LIMITED VARIETY AND SOME DAYS FOOD WAS ALACART. BREADFAST WAS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE PER STAY. THE WORST WAS THE FACT THAT PARKING WAS A FEE OF $37 DOLLARS A DAY AND A DESTINATION FEE OF $20 DOLLARS A DAY.
