Upon arrival, the hotel was very busy, and our room wasn't ready. We were directed to the Club Lounge on the 7th floor for check-in, where we could relax and wait with some refreshments and snacks. Since there was a long queue for rooms, they upgraded us to a suite as a temporary measure. We only waited about 20 minutes before checking in. An attendant brought us some fruit and flowers. In the evening, my son was on a diet and didn't want to go out, so we just grabbed a casual bite at the 7th-floor lounge. We also had breakfast there the next morning. Even though it was crowded, the staff, both the ladies and the young men, were all very enthusiastic and had excellent service awareness. The housekeeping auntie was also very friendly. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The room was very clean, with a mix of carpet and wooden flooring. There were plenty of power outlets, making charging devices very convenient, and even wireless charging. The front desk service was excellent; they upgraded me to a larger room for free and did their best to accommodate my requests from the Ctrip booking. The room also had filtered drinking water, and the breakfast selection was quite varied and plentiful. The shower pressure in the bathroom was fantastic. The hotel's location right next to Qiantan Taikoo Li makes shopping and dining incredibly convenient.

The hotel is located right within the Taikoo Li Qiantan urban complex, and it's also just a five-minute walk from the Oriental Sports Center, making its location excellent. I booked a twin room with a distant river view on Trip.com, and the hotel upgraded me to a suite. Although it was a corner room, I was exceptionally pleased with it. The living room offered a broad, sweeping view, and sitting there, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery, made for a truly relaxing weekend. The suite's layout is well-designed, separating living and sleeping areas, and it features an oversized bathroom, a smaller one, and a dining/kitchen area equipped with an induction hob, microwave, and a direct drinking water dispenser, all of which enhanced the comfort of my stay. The room I booked included a dinner set, and while the taste could be improved, it saved me the hassle of going out to find food. Breakfast was decent; though the variety wasn't extensive, the quality was good. The hotel staff are well-trained, proactive, and polite, and the room service was very responsive. My husband and I traveled here for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel found out and proactively contacted me. A staff member named Nico, who spoke English, decorated our room, arranged a welcome fruit platter, and thoughtfully prepared a cake. The housekeeping also left a card congratulating us on our anniversary.
Everything was wonderful. The view was also great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai. It's also super convenient for shopping at Taikoo Li downstairs. Highly recommend.
