Atour X Hotel Shanghai The Bund Nanjing East Road Subway Station

Upon arrival, I was told that the superior double room I booked was actually a tatami room, and I'd have to pay an additional 800 yuan to get a standard double room. They claimed the pictures on the booking page were incorrect, even though two of them clearly showed normal double beds. Are they just trying to take advantage of elderly tourists who might not know any better?

Convenient Location & Attentive Service, Even on a Rainy Day The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. My stay coincided with rainy weather, and it was a bit damp both indoors and out. However, the room thoughtfully provided a dehumidifier, which significantly alleviated the discomfort – a huge plus! What truly impressed me was the front desk service – professional and enthusiastic. I needed to mail a package, and they proactively helped me take photos, pack it, and contact the courier. The entire process was seamless and incredibly heartwarming. Based on my current experience, both the facilities and service are quite good, with no obvious drawbacks. I highly recommend it to travelers who prioritize location and service.

The room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. The main highlight is the excellent location, close to the Bund. It's great for a morning run or enjoying the Bund scenery and a breeze in the evening. Plus, it's not far from Chenghuang Temple and Yu Garden during the day. Very nice!

The front desk staff, Tian Man, provided warm and enthusiastic service. The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were new, the environment was beautiful, and the hygiene was excellent. The staff even helped with laundry, which was a great bonus.

Have you ever seen a window the size of an A4 paper? The soundproofing is so bad that the neighbor's door slamming sounds like an earthquake. Is this really an Atour? 890 yuan for this quality is ridiculous!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot. The room itself was small but clean and functional. One minor issue was that the night light was too bright at night, so I'd suggest adjusting that. Breakfast was decent.

This place is incredibly convenient, right next to the Bund and Nanjing Pedestrian Street – literally just a few hundred meters away. We happened to be here during a lockdown this time, and I was so glad it was so close, which made things much easier. If you're planning to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road, I highly recommend staying here!
