Ayasoluk Hotel & Restaurant

Pros: Staff Location Aesthetics Cons: Room size far smaller than advertised.

This hotel has no cons, all pros Location: walking distance from Dolmus and train station. Situated on historic Ayasoluk hill with short walk from St John Basilica, Isa Bay mosque. A short taxi or Dolmus drive from Esphuses and Virgin Mary house. Staff is very welcoming and goes extra mile with any help needed All staff speaks very good english. The hotel has swimming pool and very good valley view. Hotel has modern amenities and has been updated and decorated very well. The hotel also has two shops selling a huge variety of carpets and local handicrafts.

We stayed in Ayasoluk hotel for three nights. We are very happy that we chose this hotel as our base hotel for traveling around Selcuk. The location is perfect. It’s less than 10 minutes walk from train station, bus and taxi station. You can walk to St. John Basilica and Ephesus Museum .  Also you can walk to bus station and take a mini bus to Ephesus Archaeological site for less than 10 minutes and TL30. A half day trip to the beautiful village of Sirince is highly recommended. You can take the morning bus from bus station in less than 20 minutes. You only pay TL 40 for one way. The hotel is very nice decorated, clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. There’s a restaurant in the hotel and the view from the terrace is pretty nice. Breakfast is typical Turkish cuisine and is very healthy. I would come back for my next visit in the region.
