Hôtel Mercure Paris 17 Batignolles

Good modern hotel. Excellent quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was a bit sparse. Overall, everything was great.

Facilities: The showerhead in the bathtub is always drooping and the water pressure is incredibly spread out, making a normal shower impossible. The semi-enclosed shower area floods the bathroom every time I shower. Looks like the hotel's maintenance staff is on strike. Cleanliness: The housekeeper barely wipes down the furniture, even though I tipped 2 euros every day. Environment: The overall hotel environment is pretty good, with a supermarket, restaurant, and bakery nearby. However, the closest metro station, M14, is still a 7-8 minute walk away. Service: Didn't really experience much, but I guess that's just how everyone in Paris looks, I can understand. We stayed for 4 nights in total. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast, which was quite extensive. The breakfast staff were very helpful, though their enthusiasm was moderate. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the street, so there wasn't much of a view.

We only stayed for one night, but the room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is excellent, with a superb restaurant right across from the hotel. The hotel staff provided great service; we needed an early check-in, and they accommodated us promptly.

The facilities are basic, the room is small, and the two beds are probably only 80-90 cm wide!
