YHA Mei Ho House Youth Hostel

If you have a large suitcase, it's best to take a taxi. There are two big uphill climbs after exiting the subway, and it takes about 8 minutes to walk there.

The air conditioning was excellent, and there were also two shared hair dryers available in the common laundry room on the first floor. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The environment is good, but someone was snoring loudly at night, so I had trouble falling asleep until very late 😅. The location is also pretty good.

Came here for my child's school search. The area is convenient, close to the subway station. The service is great, it's clean, and the price is affordable. The double room was also very spacious. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

The location is pretty good, with convenient access to both the subway and bus. The only downside is an unavoidable uphill walk, but taking the A23 bus from the airport can shorten that distance a bit. The accommodation itself is decent; the room isn't small and even has two bathrooms. It's very clean. The downsides are that the beds don't have curtains for privacy, and the bottom bunk is really easy to bump your head on. The hairdryer in the common pantry has very weak airflow and isn't very useful. Other than that, everything else is good, and I would still highly recommend it.

Pros: The room was spacious, and the location was fairly convenient, though it required a short uphill walk. The air conditioning worked great. There was a window, but it couldn't be opened. Cons: There was practically no service, clearly an effort to cut labor costs. Housekeeping and towel changes were only done every three days, and daily service incurred an additional 60 CNY charge. Upon checkout, guests were required to strip their own duvet covers and pillowcases and bring them to the front desk. I've never encountered these policies before, though perhaps I haven't stayed in enough youth hostels. But what truly shocked me was getting 19 large, deep red, incredibly itchy bites on my calves during my stay, making it impossible to sleep properly at night. When I reported it to the hotel, they simply took a photo. I will never stay at a hotel like this again.

Facilities: The facilities are excellent. Even though it's an eight-person room, there are two toilets, so there's no pressure during peak hours. The bunk beds are convenient, and the air conditioning is cool. Everyone was very considerate, and it was quiet at night. Cleanliness: Both the toilets and the room were very clean. Environment: The environment is great. Mei Ho House is a large complex with a youth activity area in addition to the rooms, and there are free exhibitions to see. Service: The service is very good, and you can store your luggage for free.
