Best Western Plus Hotel Fino Chitose

Super clean hotel with reasonable price. Cozy and big room. Staff is nice and helpful. Location was approx 400 metres from JR Chitose. Strongly recommended. We booked 1 twin and 1 japanese style executive room.

We booked Superior Twin Room via Trip. Room size was just nice to fit one 20inch and one 24inch luggage. Considering our 24inch luggage is open-top type (see below) we still have to put the other luggage on the table. But carpark was challenging. Hotel carpark was full. Surrounding carparks with good rates also full. Hotel also not allow us to park at the restaurant carpark lot eventhough it was quite late at night. In the end no choice we parked at the Morimoto bread shop carpark which we also not sure becos nobody parking. All in all not good experience for a foreigner. We have stayed in many hotels in Hokkaido with better, more choice of parking facilities.... 🤢🤢🤢

Overall our family love this hotel very much. The receptions are so nice. The room spacious enough for me to open 4 big luggages at the same time. There is a bus stop to/from New Chitose airport within 40 steps from the hotel. The train station, Chitose station, is 500m to the hotel and there are many places along the way such as Aeon, convenient store, restaurant. The parking lot located at the back of the hotel. You can get the discount card with reception and pay all parking fee when check out. The best thing of this is when you go outside, the parking quota will be yours, you will surely have parking slot when you get back from travel. There are 3 cloth wash&dry machine which you need to pay and be punctual in the peak period. I pay for breakfast one morning, my family go quite late. The last order is 9.30 but I remember time wrongly so we arrive 9.15 which there are 4 salmon sushi left and the staff not add sushi for us despite while the sushi plate empty, there are more than 10 minute left. I feel sad.

No coffee teas or welcome drinks. No weight scale. No hot spring

Location was not bad. We got a room with 2 beds which was a bit bigger than typical room. But I don't like that we had to unload the luggages on the street in the rain!! There's a flower path that blocked us, it was inconvenient. Also the parking lot was full when I was there. Staff spoke English but not fluent enough (because I didn't get what I asked for at check-in). I had a 7.30 am flight so I'd like to book taxi for us. They kept me waiting for 40 mins and said no taxi available, please use train or bus to the airport 🙄 I wasn't happy because we had 6 ppl and big luggages. I ended up book an airport transfer from Trip.com instead. Anyway I don't think I will stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone

The location is really nice, just 10 mins walking distance to Aeon and the famous soup curry shop. There’s also a 7-11 right next to the hotel.
