Hampton Inn Charleston-Southridge

The hotel was located very conveniently to restaurants and other stores. The breakfast was fresh. Our room was very nice and clean.

Our experience at this Hilton Inn was fabulous!! Brittany at the front was smiling, friendly and she was expecting us! She made us feel very welcome! Our rooms were clean and completely stocked! (And yes, I always checked the sheets!) It smelled nice and clean, not stuffy and stale! All staff smiled, and asked if everything was ok! They have very good coffees and hot water ready anytime you need it in the dining room! That was very much appreciated, as a couple of us are night owls. The breakfast was hot, lots to choose from, different toppings, choices and it was very clean! Spacious dining area, we did not feel closed in at all! The pool area was nice and spacious! They also had an outside seating area with a large gas fire to sit around in the evening! Our stay was one of the best we have experienced in 25+ years of traveling! We highly recommend choosing this Hampton Inn in Charleston, WV!

Always a favorite place of mine to stay when I visit my son at University of Charleston. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are always clean and comfortable.

We had zero hot water in the morning and a broken shower handle. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, except when I tried to call the front desk for help with a toilet problem we had as well, I couldn't get anyone to answer so I had to go look for help. The breakfast was okay, but not great. Everything was very clean though.

Nice large room & spacious bathroom with tons of counter space. Easy parking. Close to restaurants & stores. Nice pool when wasn’t busy with families (kids). I appreciate places that set aside an adult only time.

There are restaurants nearby that you can walk to. The walls are a little thin and voices carry down the hall.

Beautiful hotel! No fragrances, which was important for my husband who has chemical sensitivity. The room was huge, clean and looked new. Staff was very friendly, and the parking was free. My only complaint was that the couch was across from the TV instead of the bed, so we had to crane our neck when we were in bed, trying to watch it.

10 out of 10 would recommend . Breakfast buffet was very good and had a lot of options.
