Glen Cove Inn & Suites Rockport

The Glen Cove Inn was a lucky discovery on our journey down US 1. The rooms are spread out along the hill in several buildings giving the feel of New England houses. Parking is arranged so that there is only a few steps between car and room. The rooms were attractively decorated with coastal themes. On a clear day there is a glimpse of Penobscott Bay from the parking lot. The grounds are decorated with flower gardens. All the rooms had outdoor seating. Our room had a deck with table and chairs. I would have never found this place without *******! A great value!

Our room was very clean and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was very good. The pool was heated and very well maintained. The property is nice and quiet at night and you felt very safe staying there. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. We highly recommend Glen Cove Inn.

The rooms were very tidy and clean, the major issue we had was the light coming in through the door, it’s hard to sleep when it’s so light in the bedrooms. The room has such a beautiful light blocking curtain for the siding glass door to a cute little balcony, but they didn’t invest in something to fully block the light on the door or have a curtain to cover the blinds on the window. So bring a sleep mask!

Even more charming than I imagined, and I’ve driven past this hotel for years. The gentleman who runs it was incredibly kind, the room darling, the decor and details storybook like and breakfast one of the best continental you’ll find, making it a perfect spot to stay while I waited for my ferry the next day. I’m staying again this coming week. It is by far the best hotel in the area.

The Glen Cove was a fantastic stopover on my way home from Acadia. I stayed in unit 1 and enjoyed a lovely pond view. I was able to open windows for fresh air, which I love. The room was large, updated and very clean. It felt so homey! The staff was so nice. Though the property is right off Route 1, I felt like I was miles away from it. Location is very convenient to Camden and Rockland. I will definitely recommend the Glen Cove to my Maine visitors and stay here again myself.

They wouldn’t give me a refund for the 6 days I didn’t use the hotel. The rooms were outdated and not the cleanest. Will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The room was ok but unfortunately in the morning we had no hot water for showers. Ran the hot water faucet for over half an hour and still no hot water so no showers. I told the staff member upon checkout and he didn’t seem concerned or mention doing anything to help.

Adorable place. I had a back deck on a little pond with distant ocean views. Nice and clean. Helpful staff.
