JI Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the scenic area, only about a ten-minute walk to the entrance. As a branded chain hotel, the quality is quite good. The breakfast selection is rich, and the room hygiene is also satisfactory. The front desk even gave us complimentary water when we checked out. The room rate was a bit high, but understandable given it was peak season.

I'll definitely stay at Ji Hotel again next time. I'll stay longer next time; Jiuzhaigou is worth it. The hotel isn't too far from the park entrance. Walking 30,000 steps in Jiuzhaigou in one day is a lot, you could definitely spend two days there, 30,000 steps each day, hahahahaha.

Let's start with the positives. First, it's very close to the scenic area's main gate, within walking distance. This was especially convenient after a tiring afternoon of sightseeing; while those staying further away had to wait for transportation and deal with traffic jams at the entrance, we could just walk back to the hotel. Second, there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient. You can also catch transportation right downstairs, and there's a Starbucks, KFC, and BaWangChaJi. Now for the negatives: 1. It was too noisy. The hallway was also noisy. With the window open, there was a guesthouse possibly only three meters from our bedroom, and it was also extremely loud. 2. The room rate wasn't cheap, nearly 1800 for two nights, and there was mold on the bathroom wall. 3. Breakfast wasn't included and cost extra, though the additional charge wasn't too expensive.

This Ji Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the bus departure point for Jiu Lv Yue Xing at Zangwang Square. It's about a 15-minute walk to the scenic area entrance, which means you don't have to queue for a taxi when leaving the park in the afternoon. The room was quiet, the service was good, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

The hotel's location is excellent, right at Zangwang Plaza where the buses pick up and drop off. It's only about 800 meters from the scenic area's ticket office, and dining options nearby are very convenient. This is probably the best choice for a trip to Jiuzhaigou, considering both value for money and convenience.

Booked the room several days in advance, but it still wasn't cleaned when I arrived around 8 PM on check-in day. After getting in, I found the floor sticky, and not a single apology was offered. The re-cleaning was also very perfunctory.

Took my parents to Jiuzhaigou for a leisurely two-day trip this summer. We went into the park early to avoid the crowds. We walked the wooden boardwalk with my parents, enjoying the cool mist from the Pearl Shoal Waterfall. They rested by the Long Lake, saying it felt like a painting. The restrooms in the scenic area were clean, and the supply points were well-placed, so my parents didn't get tired. For a few days, we set aside all our worries and just listened to the sounds of water and wind. It's been a long time since I've felt such peace, just sitting with family and enjoying the scenery 🌿

Location-wise, it's about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of the scenic area. The family room is very spacious with two separate rooms and two bathrooms, making it comfortable overall. However, the door design in the main room is quite impractical; the bathroom and shower doors tend to collide, perhaps due to space constraints. As for service, the hotel staff were all very helpful, assisting with laundry drying and even providing bottled water when we left.
