Harbour Plaza Metropolis

When I visited Hong Kong, I chose to stay here. It's within walking distance to Hung Hom MTR station, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, and the Coliseum. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a swimming pool and gym, offering great value for money. I honestly didn't expect much for the price, but as you can see from the pictures, it's pretty good. Unlike hotels in mainland China, beds in Hong Kong tend to be narrower, but the bedding quality is decent. It felt clean, and the towels were soft. The room doesn't provide disposable toiletries like toothbrushes, which I've already come to accept. However, I did find a pair of disposable slippers in the wardrobe. The front desk service was fantastic! 👍 I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

The staff were so kind and upgraded me to a suite, which was really big and beautiful – very nice! The environment was comfortable, and transportation was convenient, plus there was a shuttle bus. The staff were friendly and polite, I'd definitely return.

I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip. The environment was fine and clean. I was traveling alone, and the 1.5-meter bed was perfectly adequate – I never even touched the other side! Transportation is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Hung Hom MTR station. They offer free luggage storage, and the front desk staff were quite polite. When I discovered the kettle was broken, they quickly replaced it with a new one, which was great – they resolved the issue promptly. When renewing my key card, it was crowded in the evening and I had to queue. If you need to go to the front desk for anything, I recommend going first thing in the morning. When I left for work at 7:40 AM, there was hardly anyone there, and I renewed my card in just five minutes.

Pros: Convenient transportation. Cons: The air conditioner and refrigerator are old and very noisy; you can't sleep unless you turn them off. All facilities are old; the bed creaks and is small. It's very different from the hotel I stayed at in Tsim Sha Tsui, and it's 200 yuan more expensive per night. There's a gym and an outdoor pool, but they're just average.

The location and service attitude are both excellent. The only minor issue was the bathroom, which always had a sewage smell, likely due to ventilation problems. However, closing the bathroom door largely mitigated this. Also, for some reason, there were a few tiny gnats that I couldn't seem to kill or get rid of, and my child ended up with a few bites. Luckily, I had some ointment with me. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory.

The hotel has an excellent location with convenient transportation, and there's a shopping mall right next to it with plenty of food options. This is my second time staying here, and the front desk even upgraded us to a suite for free. The experience was great!
