Shangri-La Nanchang

The hotel is right next to Exit 4 of Metro Line 4 (Qiushui Square), making transportation very convenient. It's just across the street from the Nanchang municipal government offices, which is great for business travelers. Bingo City shopping mall is just one bus stop away, offering plenty of dining options. The executive lounge is of excellent quality, and the service is proactive, attentive, and warm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the bedding is comfortable. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views: you can admire the Twin Towers close by on the left, and catch a glimpse of the Pavilion of Prince Teng across the river on the right. The river views outside the window are unbeatable, with Qiushui Square right below your feet. Despite two rainy and overcast days, the hazy scenery still had its own unique charm.

The hotel is grand and luxurious with great facilities, and the service is warm and attentive. It's very comfortable to view the Autumn Water Musical Fountain from the room, and listening to the matching music on TV channel 47 makes it an even more enjoyable experience. You can also catch a glimpse of the Pavilion of Prince Teng and enjoy the beautiful night view. Watching the sunrise from the room is fantastic too.

The hotel has an unbeatable location with fantastic river views. You can enjoy the night view of the Pavilion of Prince Teng right from your room. With the subway station right downstairs, getting around is a breeze. The breakfast is delicious, featuring authentic Nanchang mixed noodles and earthenware soup. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Nanchang!

The room was extremely clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. Both the breakfast at the executive lounge (which features made-to-order Zhou Zhenzhen mixed rice noodles) and the happy hour were great. Very satisfied. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is free for guests and super convenient. Located right across the river from the Tengwang Pavilion, it is situated directly above Qiushui Square. The staff were warm, welcoming, and patient. I booked the 270-degree river view room, and the view was phenomenal.

The hotel's decor is a bit dated, and the stains on the bathroom floor tiles seem impossible to remove. I reported this to the hotel on the first day, but the marks were still there on the second day, and no feedback was given by the time we checked out. However, the location is top-notch with unbeatable river views—it's the absolute best spot to watch the sunrise in the morning and overlook the Pavilion of Prince Teng at night. The morning buffet offers a great variety and is fantastic!

We booked two rooms and stayed for a week. There's a coffee-making robot in the lobby, so we decided to try it. The screen froze while I was ordering o(╥﹏╥)o. Just as I was wondering what to do, a lounge attendant hurried over from afar and helped me reboot the ordering system. The coffee robot had this subtly cool and roguish look in its "eyes," which was hilarious.

The Shangri-La Nanchang has an exceptional location, right by the Gan River and facing the Pavilion of Prince Teng. The river view is expansive and breathtaking—watching the sunset in the evening and taking in the nightscape of the Gan River is truly therapeutic. The rooms are clean and comfortable with soft bedding, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. It's very convenient for getting around and exploring the city. My top choice for a stay in Nanchang.

The living room of the room faces Qiushui Square. Sitting on the sofa at night watching the square's fountain is sheer bliss! Or you can just cross the street to the square to experience the magnificent atmosphere of the fountain up close and witness firsthand the pride of being Chinese! The staff's attitude was truly wonderful; the Chinese restaurant serves great food, the breakfast is plentiful, and the Executive Lounge happy hour is not to be missed! All in all, Shangri-La Hotels are always my first choice whenever I visit a new city!
