Conrad Xiamen

The Conrad Xiamen provided an excellent experience. The Luxury Seaview Room offered breathtaking views, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Gulang Island, Xiamen Bay, and the Yanwu Bridge. The scenery was stunning, from the clear blue skies during the day to the beautiful sunset glow in the evening. The room was spacious and comfortable, with high-end facilities. The bathtub, facing the sea, made for a truly relaxing soak while enjoying the view. The service was attentive and thoughtful, and the location was superb. It's an ideal choice for enjoying the sea views in Xiamen.

I paid 5780 RMB for two nights for an Executive Floor room, yet received absolutely none of the services or benefits an Executive Floor guest should expect. During happy hour on the first night, the food selection was incredibly meager, and none of the dishes were labeled. When I brought this up to the manager in charge of the Executive Lounge, they immediately offered a string of excuses and their expression turned quite unpleasant. After that, every time I saw them in the lounge, they had a sour face. For a mid-level hotel service manager to have such poor demeanor is truly a disservice to the Hilton brand. Of course, the hotel's Guest Services Manager, Joni, was incredibly thoughtful and stepped in to help. The hotel's location is good, but the facilities and decor are definitely showing their age. Perhaps to save energy, both the rooms and public areas are poorly lit.

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, and there are even footstools for children. Hygiene: It's quite clean. Although the facilities are old, they are well-maintained. Environment: The environment is its biggest advantage; it's excellent. You can see Gulangyu Island directly from the room, and the view from the executive lounge is also very good (though the food selection is terrible and perfunctory; it would be better if it were just a beverage bar). Service: Excellent, especially Esther, who provided full-service assistance. Any issues could be communicated!
