Hotel San Marco

The room was a bit small, but the front desk service was excellent; they were very accommodating.

The room was spacious and had a small balcony, but the facilities felt a bit dated. The elevator isn't modern; it's one of those old-fashioned types where you have to open and close the doors yourself. It's conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and there are some good restaurants downstairs. However, there was a green light in the room that I couldn't turn off, which might bother some people.

The location is fantastic! It's only a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the station, you can take line A to the Vatican, and just a 3-minute walk left from the hotel, you can catch line B to the Colosseum. Basically, you can see all the main attractions in two days by taking four metro rides. Breakfast is included, though the taste is just so-so. You can also store your luggage, and for this price, it's really great value for money.

Very close to the subway station, making it super convenient for transportation. Definitely recommend!

The room was a bit dated, but it was spotless. A key thing to know is that Italian hotels often provide two flat sheets instead of a duvet cover. If you're staying, you can choose to sleep between them.
