Hotel Muroran Hills

The facilities were quite dated, comparable to an old motel. Parking is free. Breakfast is included, but it's very basic: just toast and coffee, or a Japanese option. Go in with low expectations, and it's perfectly adequate for the price.

I think it's good value for money.

I drove here. Parking is available right in front of the hotel. The rooms are decent, nothing special. There's a convenience store nearby, and the station isn't far either. Breakfast seems to be free; as long as it's filling, there's nothing to complain about.

We used this hotel as accommodation for our parents while our child moved to a dormitory. We don't usually stay in hotels, so I can't compare it to anything else, but the stay itself was fine without any particular inconveniences. However, I'm not sure if it was the hotel or the website, but the booking stated that the amount paid by card would be refunded after checkout. It's been over a day since checkout, and the refund hasn't been returned. At checkout, there was no one there; we just put the key in a basket. I'm wondering what's going to happen? At this rate, it will just be like paying double the accommodation fee... There was no detailed explanation, and at check-in, they just said, "Payment is made on-site," and didn't say anything about the amount we paid upfront. I'm worried about whether we'll get our money back.

The front desk staff were disappointingly unfriendly. The milk at breakfast was spoiled. The amenities were wonderful. It's a shame, especially considering the great price.
