The staff never came to our room for two days to clean up the water on the floor after Hurricane Melissa, even though we called multiple times. We were never given clean towels, our toilets were clogged, we had no running water most of the time after the storm, and the AC wasn’t working. No basic services were provided, yet we were charged an additional $715 for two more nights after our flights were cancelled.
Two front desk staff members told us we could get a refund upon checkout, but when we tried to do so, they refused. I even emailed them about the service and refund and got no response—yet they had no problem replying quickly before we arrived.
Overall, extremely disappointed with the service. I’m not planning to return and will not be recommending this place to anyone.
