InterContinental Changchun High Tech Zone

Extremely satisfied, absolutely loved our stay! Visited Changchun with my child during the Golden Week holiday. When the hotel found out it was my child's birthday, they even gifted us a birthday cake 🎂! The room was spacious and bright with floor-to-ceiling windows, a smart toilet, both a shower and a bathtub, and a separate wet/dry bathroom layout—the overall experience was fantastic. All the hotel facilities are brand new. The cleanliness, service, and breakfast were all superb. Every single staff member greeted us with a warm smile. This will definitely be our go-to hotel whenever we visit Changchun!

Coming back to visit my old university after many years, I naturally chose to stay at the InterContinental directly opposite the campus. From my room, I could see my alma mater, which was lovely. A big thank you to Jasper for upgrading me to the club floor – I had a wonderful and comfortable sleep. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The gym and pool are also quite good, though it would be great if there were more barbell equipment. The lounge on the first floor is just okay; if you're looking for a good drink in the evening, I'd recommend heading over to Mudan Road instead.

Lisa, the guest relations manager, added me on WeChat beforehand. She was very patient and efficient in resolving issues, making my experience fantastic. The room had an air purifier, so there were no unpleasant smells. The toiletries were Byredo, and the soap base scent was lovely. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and there were three types of pillows to choose from. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and many local specialties worth trying, such as sauerkraut and pork rib soup, fried Mianzi (a local snack), and You Cha (fried dough twist soup). This is currently the newest five-star hotel in Changchun, and aside from the slightly inconvenient location, everything else was great.

The environment is beautiful, the facilities are complete, and the rooms are clean. The staff are very friendly. There are also many shopping malls nearby, and it's only a ten-minute walk to MixC. I recommend staying here.

Every time I visit Changchun, I stay at the InterContinental. I love the pool here, and the service is always warm, professional, and attentive. It's consistently excellent. Lisa provided great service, she was warm and meticulous. I'll definitely be back next time.

This hotel, opened in 2025, boasts an elegant and grand overall design. The three-story high, circular lobby with its soaring ceilings is truly magnificent, creating a tremendous sense of space. A unique touch is the elevator buttons hidden within a drawer in the entrance hall table. The rooms feature a wet and dry separation in the bathroom, with Byredo toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. The bedside is equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a humidifier, and the mattress is very comfortable. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options. The hotel also provides a butler, Ivy, who is incredibly responsive to any issues, offering thoughtful and attentive service. Overall, the stay experience was highly satisfying.

Highly recommend this hotel! 👏 Check-in and check-out were very efficient, and the front desk staff were polite. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the pillows and mattress were comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The overall environment was quiet, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely prioritize booking here next time!

Our last stop on this trip was the InterContinental Changchun High-tech Zone, and it was the most satisfying of the four hotels we stayed at. The Wanda Jin Hua Resort on the west slope of Tianchi had complete facilities but was definitely too old; the Changbaishan Shuyuan Tianchi had a great environment and we were upgraded to a suite, which was new and spacious, but the layout felt more like a residential apartment and lacked some small details; the Hilton DoubleTree Yanji was relatively new but had limited amenities, making it more suitable for business travelers, and the breakfast selection was a bit sparse. The InterContinental Changchun almost perfectly made up for all these shortcomings. Plus, our butler, Jasper, was the first to proactively contact me. There were three main considerations when choosing this hotel: 1️⃣ Its distance from both Changchun Station and Changchun West Station was similar. Coming from Yanji, we weren't sure what time we'd arrive in Changchun, so a hotel close to either high-speed rail station was more suitable. 2️⃣ The hotel needed to be a moderate distance from all the places we wanted to visit, and both its hardware and software had to be excellent. 3️⃣ It needed to have a family room or a twin room with beds larger than 1.35 meters. Of course, the hotel's age and service were definitely important factors. Based on these, we chose the InterContinental over the Beihong under the Banyan Tree brand. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room. It was spacious, with a decor style that was a mix of French and New Chinese, and the color palette and luxurious stone countertops were subtle and tasteful. My child said it was the best value for money among all four hotels. And for breakfast, they had beef soup with rice, which made up for not having time to try it during our trip. All in all, we were very satisfied. Jasper was always online and responsive to all our requests. Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Changchun.

Lauren was excellent in communicating with us in advance and arranging our room according to our needs. She also proactively helped us secure a late check-out when we left, showing thoughtful and attentive service. Ms. Du at the front desk was warm and friendly, and the check-in process was efficient and smooth, making for a great experience. Ms. Luo, who serviced our room on the 17th floor, cleaned it thoroughly and efficiently every day. She has a friendly and easygoing personality, and her service was incredibly heartwarming. Manager Shen, Mila, and another gentleman at the Executive Lounge all left an excellent impression on us. Mila was easygoing and patiently handled even demanding guests, resolving issues promptly with great professionalism. The lounge food was exquisite, high-quality, and perfectly suited our tastes. Ms. Zhang Xueshi at the buffet breakfast showed exceptional responsibility. When our two children accidentally spilled food everywhere, she immediately stood by the area, reminding passing guests to watch their step and patiently waited for the cleaning staff to finish before leaving. Mr. Wang, the concierge at the main entrance, proactively helped us with two heavy suitcases and always greeted us warmly whenever we met, which was very thoughtful. Overall, all the hotel staff are highly service-oriented, proactive, and exceptionally professional. The hotel environment is luxurious and grand, and the breakfast and executive lounge food quality are outstanding. The fantastic equipment in the gym motivated me to work out daily. The stay was a wonderful experience!
