Wenxi Lanyue Homestay (Furong Town Waterfall Branch)

Location is great and easy check in is very smooth, since they help you getting the tickets to get into the town and offer a free pick up from the station. Hotel is near all the attractions. The room had amazing views, beautiful and very comfortable and a nice balcony. The only thing that I was not happy with, was the heating system. The room was cold. We tried to explained this to the lady at reception, she came to the room and adjusted the settings for a second time but the room never got warm. It would have been good to have an electric heater. They helped us to organised a taxi back to the train station which made it so much easier.

This was one of the best places we stayed at during our two week trip to China. Incredible location and the best host - we can't wait to come back and stay here again!

From the moment I booked the place the manager/receptionist offered her helped. When arrived, she sent her lovely dad to pick me up from the gate and walk me to the hotel. Everything about this place was spectacular. Great river location views where I sat outside for hours. Receptionist lady spoke English and communicated via WeChat anytime I had any questions. Thank you for the wonderful stay, highly recommend.

Location: 10/10 Excellent location, directly in front of the small waterfall, bridge,  3mins away from the large waterfall, and close to entrance of the town, which is an added bonus from dragging your luggage on the cobblestone (hotel owner helped with some luggage at checkin).  Room: 10/10 our room had a cosy balcony directly facing the small waterfall. Bed and pillows were comfortable and heating was perfect for the winter stay. Cleanliness: 10/10 - very clean room and facilities.  Service: 8/10 You can connect with the owner on WeChat and she responds promptly if any help is needed. The owner helped with the luggage from the town’s entrance at checkin. Offering luggage transfer back to the town’s entrance would  further elevate an excellent stay experience.  Facilities: 9/10 washing machine was available, which was helpful for travellers but there was no dryer. We were told to hang our clothes on the balcony for drying.
