This room felt quite stuffy and small, with only a partial window, making it essentially a corner room. For some reason, there was a continuous noise all night, similar to an air conditioner's outdoor unit. I suspect my room was next to an equipment room. I'd advise others to avoid this particular room in the future. I had considered changing rooms, and the front desk staff was quite friendly and helpful, but with all my luggage, moving to a different floor seemed like too much hassle for just one night, so I decided to make do. I was so tired from sightseeing that I fell asleep, but my husband felt suffocated and restless all night due to the lack of a proper window and the constant machinery noise. He didn't even go for breakfast, though I did. The breakfast selection was limited, and by the time I got there, it was almost over. The breakfast service wasn't great, quite casual, so I just grabbed a little something. Many tour groups stay here. However, the location is indeed excellent. It's walking distance to the Red House, Jonker Street, and all the Malacca attractions are very concentrated and easily accessible on foot. Taxis aren't expensive either, so it's a convenient place to stay. But again, this room was small and quite cramped, unlike the larger rooms you usually find at Courtyard...

I chose this hotel with my friends for our trip. The environment is nice, and it's very close to the attractions. You can walk to Jonker Street and the Maritime Museum. The scenic area is crowded both day and night, but in the morning, there are very few people, which is great for taking pictures.

The hotel's location is superb, making it convenient to get anywhere. However, the breakfast staff in the morning had a poor attitude, making me feel like they thought I was freeloading.

The rooms are set up to a standard, which is really good. There's also staff at the front desk who speak Chinese, and the hotel's laundry service is very efficient. In terms of location, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Dutch Square (Red Square) and Jonker Street, which is super convenient. The surrounding amenities are also great, and it's relatively quiet at night, making it a good choice for those with light sleep.
