This hotel is very close to Xixi Wetland, and its environment blends seamlessly with the wetland's ecology. The location is also quite convenient. The front desk staff, Mr. Wang Weiying, was very welcoming and even gave us a small gift.

Room service doesn't deliver food orders, and honestly, they should really consider getting a delivery robot. The hotel next door is undergoing renovations, and I was woken up by drills every morning. The front desk never mentioned this, so I'd advise caution if you're planning to stay here soon. I usually love the Banyan Tree style everywhere, and my previous experiences here were great, but this time I'm a bit disappointed with the Xixi Banyan Tree. While the decor might appeal to those who like older hotels, it feels like management has given up on maintaining the Banyan Tree atmosphere. The rooftop pool is closed, the outdoor seating has been removed, and the Xixi commercial street is renovating restaurants, leading to immense noise. Being woken up by drills every morning was incredibly annoying. No staff member informed me or offered earplugs before check-in. Most people come to Banyan Tree for a relaxing vacation, and the noise really impacts the experience. When I first checked in and tried to store my luggage, the staff very abruptly and loudly told me I couldn't store it for a week because there was no surveillance, and it could only be kept in the office. Very few five-star hotels operate like this, or at least they could communicate with more emotional intelligence. The staff simply said, 'This is how we do things here.' On a positive note, the cleaning staff were very nice and enthusiastic. I still hope the Xixi Banyan Tree can improve its operations.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a fresh and beautiful ecological environment – truly a natural oxygen bar. The breakfast was good, and it's convenient for getting around, being close to museums and shopping streets. We really appreciated the attentive service from the front desk staff and all the other employees. We'll definitely bring our family to stay here again next time.
