Palm Springs Hotel Chengdu Vignette Collection

This hotel definitely deserves a glowing review! Everything, from the decor and quality of the furnishings to the meticulous service and room cleanliness, is absolutely flawless. The fact that they even provide 5100 Glacier Water in the rooms really shows their commitment to quality. Full marks to you! 💯

Pros: I was given a high floor, and the hygiene was excellent. The subway entrance is right outside, making it very convenient to get to SKP and Global One Station. Cons: The breakfast was too simple, with fewer stir-fried dish options compared to other places! However, the noodles and rice noodles were quite tasty. The residential building next door felt deserted at night, which was a bit eerie.

This is my second visit to Chengdu this month, and I've chosen Palm Springs again. Earlier this month, it was called Fairmont, but by the end of the month, it's rebranded as InterContinental. My stay this time was a pleasant surprise! The service has significantly improved, and the room was even cleaner than before. The subway entrance is right outside, literally zero distance. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip to Chengdu. It's probably the best in terms of surrounding environment and service, and the price is exceptionally good too.

I came to Chengdu for a trip and had a layover at Tianfu Airport on my way back, so I stayed for a night at the Fairmont in Tianfu New Area. Overall, it was pretty good, but still not quite on par with the Fairmont Wuhan or the Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai, which I've stayed at before. **Location**: In Tianfu New Area, adjacent to Century City Metro Station. You can take the subway directly to Tianfu Airport, which is very convenient. **Hardware**: The public areas here are a bit small and don't have much of a design aesthetic, but the materials used are of good quality. Also, my room faced Tianfu Avenue, so there was some noise, making the stay experience just average. **Service**: Truly excellent. Whether it was the concierge or the front desk, and especially the Gold Lounge, the service was very proactive and attentive. **Recreational Facilities**: The gym was decent, but I didn't get a chance to use the pool. **Breakfast**: The dandan noodles made by the chef were delicious. The rest of the breakfast was average and not particularly memorable.

Overall, the rooms were decent. However, some bathrooms had an odor, and the room on the 31st floor had poor soundproofing – you could hear conversations from outside. I hope that the room assignment process can be quicker in the future.

This hotel is great! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me with my luggage, and Jeanne at check-in even upgraded my room. The room itself was lovely, with all the amenities you'd expect and nothing to complain about. The tea and coffee brands provided were also of good quality, definitely worth the price. But the service really stood out! 👍🏻

The entire experience was so reassuring and comfortable, truly fantastic. Our butler, Carrie, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; from guiding us through check-in to tidying the room, she was very professional. She proactively offered to help with our belongings and adjust facilities, always with a kind and patient demeanor. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, with all amenities neatly arranged.
