The property was amazing . My wife and I had an amazing time. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Chicago . Lots of places to go to for nightlife , right around the corner . 10/10!! We can’t wait to go back !

Great property and excellent service. I down-voted staff over one nitpicky thing, but when a hotel is that expensive, you expect excellence. We were missing a robe. After requesting one, they came to our room with ear plugs. After explaining that we were missing a robe, he came back with a robe with a mismatched belt closure. When a place touts its excellence through its pricing, you should demand it through its service provision.

I loved my stay at Nobu. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by the friendliest staff, along with a warm towel and tea that immediately set the tone. The check-in process was seamless, and the team made me feel like I was the only guest. We were celebrating my bachelorette, and I was so touched to find a bottle of champagne waiting in the room, along with the sweetest note from Charlie and the front office team. The room itself was spectacular—expansive windows, a beautiful layout, and a flow that made it easy to fully disconnect from the outside world. It truly allowed me to be present and soak in a moment of happiness and relaxation.

Hotel was nice. Great style. Staff very professional. I was a bit irked that checkout was at 11 am and no later checkout could be accommodated. Gym was mediocre. Room could have used more comfortable chairs.

I expected the 5-star luxury Nobu is known for globally, but this felt like a decent 4-star hotel missing the mark on execution. If you adjust your expectations, you may be happy, but it falls short of true luxury. The Room & Facilities The rooms are large and aesthetically nice, but the functionality slips. The bathroom was dark and the shower felt low-quality. Most glaring was the 1-ply toilet paper—a detail no true 5-star hotel disregards. The gym equipment also left a lot to be desired. The Pool & Amenities The pool is a main draw, but it was closed both times I tried to visit during the hours listed in the room (5:30 AM – 10:30 PM). I later saw the website lists different times, but conflicting info and lack of access is a major service failure. The lobby is small and lacks charm; there is no morning coffee provided unless you walk through a back door into the restaurant, which isn't a great breakfast spot. Dining & Location While I didn't eat at the restaurant, the room service sushi was extremely poor. I hope the restaurant quality is better. The West Loop location is trendy with great dining, but far from Chicago’s main attractions. Verdict Nobu Chicago is a 4-star hotel wanting to be 5. If you find a rate comparable to a good 4-star, go for it. Just don't expect the 5-star luxury found at other Nobus worldwide.

We stayed for 2 nights. Our room was not cleaned. When asked housekeeping about cleaning our room we were told that as it was after 3 they will do a light clean up. The worst was that they did not replace our dirty coffee cups. This is very disappointing! Never expected this out of Nobu. I have never had to reuse my coffee cups at any other hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nobu. The food was very nice and the atmosphere was what I really wanted (the main reason I chose to stay there). I also really liked the location of the hotel. Everything was very walkable and I enjoyed exploring when I had free time. My only thoughts as negatives are the view from the rooms are not super impressive, I had opted in for the upgraded room at a discounted price which I did get (but wasn’t informed that when I checked in which was stated when I opted in), and I had quite a few issues with the Wi-Fi and working the tv so I just gave up on that. If you’re looking for a reliable, clean place that offers a lot for food and beverages then I’d definitely recommend staying!
