The Scarlet, Lincoln, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Excellent staff and place.

We love staying at the Scarlett hotel! The staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean. The coffee shop is one of our favorite stops!

My stay here at the Scarlet Hotel was for three full nights we did have ballet service for the first 24 hours, but as I was coming and going more often, I just parked across the street which is pretty convenient if you’re resourceful I loved the open space around the hotel. They were buildings but it was an architectural marvel. I was on the higher floor so I had a better vantage point. The staff was great and very beautiful every one of them. We sat in the outside area for drinks at the Wl and Good. Wonderful staff all the way around. We had coffee every morning. I didn’t care for the flavored coffees after the first morning so I just had regular coffee and added my cream and sugar. The rooms were spacious and the only way I knew this is because the outlet hadn’t charged my phone. When I move the table to change to the second outlet, I looked the corner, and there were spiderwebs. It was a little dusty so it could afford to be fully cleaned probably more often than it is done, housekeeping yeah. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience. The aesthetics were pleasing & the staff were very helpful. There are perfectly adequate options for food there but with all of the options elsewhere shouldn’t be a problem DoorDash or Uber if you did not want to eat anything there. Downtown is six minutes away even though “O” street was shut down and it was a little harder to maneuver so 8 minutes if you get lost. Very pleasant stay. Will return.

Extremely rude housekeeper or house keeping manager aggressively knocking on our door and telling us to get out 20 mins BEFORE checkout time plus $20 additional for parking in a crummy lot across the street = we will never be back. Front staff was nice though, very disappointing otherwise.

Bar selection was average every thing else was great I would definitely return for future stays. Rooms are smaller than most but are new and clean.

Great staff at the front desk and coffee shop. Room is clean, modern and functional. The beds are very comfortable. We always stay here on our way to and back from Colorado.

I booked a deluxe king room, but I failed to see what was deluxe about it. Some of the photos show a bathtub in the bathroom but our room had only a shower. The vent fan didn't work. One of the main reason we stayed here was because of the rooftop bar but upon our arrival we discovered that the bar was booked for a private venue. The only good part of our stay was the staff, they were very friendly. The room was also clean.

The check in was a nightmare and we were told we couldn’t check in when we arrived because we booked on *******. Finally when we did check in the new person told us they were sorry and tried to make it right with drink tickets-nevermind that it ruined the rest of the day because our timeline was delayed 3 hours. We didn’t use the drink tickets at all either. We were also told multiple different times of the onsite restaurant hours. When we finally did eat at the restaurant-which was supposed to open at 5-we were not seated until almost 5:20 and there was literally no one in the restaurant. To cap the weekend off, my husband got food poisoning immediately following eating scallops at the restaurant. Upon check out there was no cares given about any of this. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Lincoln over the years, and never have I had such a terrible experience. Never again will I stay here. And such poor professional on the staff and management blaming ******* for their shortcomings.

Friendly welcome, clean room. Wish there were instructions about drinking water, and some complimentary tea bags.
