The hotel's location is excellent; Taikoo Hui is right downstairs, and Zhangyuan is just a five-minute walk away, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's truly in the heart of the trendy fashion district.
The hotel boasts a avant-garde design, and the service is warm and attentive. The breakfast offers a great mix of Chinese and Western options, with a wide variety and good taste, all enjoyed in a comfortable and elegant dining environment. Highly recommended.
The room is quiet with ample space. The bathroom features a smart toilet, and the shower and bathtub area is very spacious.
The only drawback is that the bed is a bit too soft; turning over creates a bit of a disturbance, which affected my sleep 💤.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation, and its Italian and Thai restaurants are quite distinctive. Taikoo Hui is right downstairs, with plenty of cafes and specialty snacks for takeout nearby. The front desk service was excellent; they even upgraded our room type because our original one wasn't ready at check-in, which made our stay even more comfortable. This hotel would be a great choice for families and friends traveling or gathering together.

If The Edition is all about high-end minimalist design, then The Sukhothai probably leans more towards a basic, simple style. Plus, the room slippers are incredibly slippery in the bathroom – a real fall hazard!
I also have to complain about the service in the coffee shop for afternoon tea, the breakfast restaurant, and the bar; the overall service standard is truly awful! For our two-person afternoon tea set, we were given an incredibly tiny table, so small that there was no space for anything, leading to a chaotic mess on the tabletop. The experience at the bar in the evening was even worse; we were completely ignored on the side for ages. This kind of service is really hard to rate.

A great, unique hotel. The Thai restaurant downstairs has good food, and the hotel's location is excellent, right next to Taikoo Hui. It's just a few hundred meters walk to the LV 'big boat' (store). Suitable for families with children.
