My Place Hotel-Carson City, NV

Very nice place and excellent value, but with two problems. The soundproofing is poor, but turning on the heater could cover the noise from other rooms. Also I saw a few tiny bugs.

Clean and cozy

It was smelling nasty. The corridor was awful smelling. The room didn't have hot water. Had to call the front desk. It took 2 hours to get the hot water running in the room. The receptionist , she was the worst. The front desk was empty every time I visited the lobby. She was out in the parking. Snooki g cigarettes.

We are traveling a lot and staying so many hotels. The receptionist of this hotel is a a rudest and worst service I’ve ever met.

The second floor had a horrible unpleasant fish like smell and unfortunately our room smelled strongly of fish or shript cooking. We reported it to the front desk, but they were unable to offer a solution or move us to another room. The air conditioner made a loud buzzing noise that kept me awake for over an hour. To make matters worse, the bed frame collapsed on one side. My wife injured her shoulder, and I ended up with a cut on my hand. We chose this hotel based on its positive reviews, so this experience was disappointing. We made the front desk aware of all of these issues before checking out, and I sincerely hope they address them. As an independently owned hotel competing with major chains, it's unfortunate that a few fixable maintenance and housekeeping issues could negatively impact what could otherwise be a goof place to stay.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable also. Requested a bedding change from front desk, after 2nd night, and was given the sheets to change ourselves. Housekeeping was great and helpful. Nice room and safe area, we would stay here again when in the area.

The room is very clean. It’s has very thing, microwave, oven and refrigerator. The staffs are very friendly and convenient parking.

Convenient location, very clean facilities, full furnished rooms. Would be good for long term stays.

All good except our room key didn't work most of the time. They had to keep giving us new ones. We had no hot water when we went to shower. We had to wait for them to fix it. Which they did.
