Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok

My stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Bangkok was an extremely satisfying experience overall. I highly recommend the river-view rooms and the riverside scenery; you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Chao Phraya River from both your room and the public areas. The hotel has two swimming pools where you can swim while enjoying the river views. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing, making it perfect for spending a day in, simply enjoying the hotel's facilities. Dining options are also abundant, with delicious Thai, Italian, and Western cuisine available. You don't need to go out into the city to enjoy various culinary delights. Additionally, I highly recommend the Relax massage on the third floor of the hotel – it's incredibly comfortable after a day of exploring Bangkok's attractions. The surrounding area of the hotel is also very convenient. There are two 7-Eleven stores just a 2-minute walk away, along with many local eateries, markets, and massage parlors nearby, making it easy to venture out in the evening. Most importantly, for just over 4,000 baht a night, you get a hotel with full river views, pools, dining, and massage services. The overall value for money (CP value) is excellent. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and scenic stay in Bangkok.

An established hotel with a great stay experience. There was no Chinese-speaking front desk staff, but English communication was fine, and issues were handled very promptly. All the staff were polite and well-trained. The hotel attracts many international tourists, offers a wide variety of food and beverages, and has two swimming pools.

Don't ever stay at this hotel. The decor is incredibly old, though it's a *tad* better than an ancient inn. You have to shower standing in the bathtub. The room smelled heavily of some kind of perfumed air freshener, and it was poorly ventilated. All the facilities are about 15 years old. Especially for smokers, absolutely do not stay here. My friend smoked a cigarette in the bathroom, and I suspect there's a camera or something because there was no smell at all, yet he was fined 6000 THB when they cleaned the room.

Booked a family suite. The room was spacious, giving my family plenty of room to relax. It offered a convenient view of the Chao Phraya River, directly across from ICONSIAM. Overall, the location is excellent.

The room overlooked the Chao Phraya River, offering an absolutely stunning view, but the room itself was old and had an unpleasant smell. Which do you prioritize? 1. If you're all about the view, then this is the place for you. 2. If the view isn't a top priority and you're more focused on modern facilities and hardware, then don't even consider it. At this price point, you really can only pick one.
