Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge

Usually it's great, but this time it was just so-so. Oh my god, I feel like the cleanliness isn't as good as it used to be, but it's still acceptable, not really that bad.

I brought my child to Boston for a school visit, and the hotel is right next to MIT. We absolutely had to get a river-view room! The Charles River is right outside the window, and across the river, you can see Boston University and the Data & Science Center, which was funded by Duan Yongping. Every morning and evening, athletes practice rowing on the river. My child and I ran 5 kilometers along the riverbank, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The hotel itself is great, but the parking fee was a bit steep!

I booked two rooms. One was a river-view room with a balcony, offering a great view for photos, though the bed was a bit smaller. The other room also had a river view, but its balcony was enclosed within the hotel, and it had a larger bed. It rained and the temperature dropped, which actually made the enclosed balcony quite useful (haha).

The room itself was decent, and the view was absolutely fantastic. The interior was a bit minimalistic, but it was spacious. Rooms facing the courtyard might be a little noisy. It would be great if the breakfast selection had more variety.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. It's located right by the Charles River, so you get a great view when you open the window. The riverside is perfect for morning runs.
