Conrad Xiamen

Staying in a high-floor Xiamen University view room at Conrad Xiamen was an absolute dream, the views are simply divine✨. Located high up in the Twin Towers, the room offers unobstructed panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, providing breathtaking views of Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. By day, you can admire the mountains and sea, and by night, the glittering city lights – the ambiance is just incredible. The space is expansive and airy with a well-thought-out layout; the living room and bedroom are comfortably separated. The bathroom is fully equipped, and soaking in the bathtub by the window while enjoying the scenery truly highlights the light luxury and quality. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent, completely blocking out any noise for a truly immersive and peaceful experience high above the city.

We chose the Conrad with a sea-view room facing the Taiwan Strait for our family trip! The floor-to-ceiling windows on a high floor offered an absolutely stunning view. Whether bathing or relaxing, we could enjoy the endless seascape. The room was clean and tidy. Although there was a minor issue during our stay, the staff did their best to resolve it. Gazing at the strait from 'above the clouds' truly broadened our minds – it was definitely worth it!

My stay at Conrad Xiamen was excellent! First off, the location is fantastic, right in the Twin Towers. It's an easy walk to Shapowei, Xiamen University, the Yanwu Bridge Observation Deck, and even the Baicheng Beach and Botanical Garden aren't too far. Secondly, the service was top-notch. A butler reached out even before I checked in, and throughout my stay, everyone from the front desk to the concierge and breakfast staff provided impeccable service. The mini-bar drinks were complimentary and restocked daily, and they also provided fresh fruit and sweet soup every day, which was a thoughtful touch. Housekeeping was also very good. The breakfast was superb, with many Xiamen specialties like Satay Noodles, Shaobing, Popiah, Mianxian paste, and Peanut Soup – all delicious! The only minor downside is that there's subway construction outside, which caused a bit of traffic, but once it's open, it should be even better. Oh, and the package included tickets to the Cloud Xiamen Observation Deck. It's quite nice if you go in the evening, and for thrill-seekers, you can even try some of the exciting activities there – apparently, it's where the 'Greater Bay Area' brothers used to hang out!

Traveling with three kids, the hotel's room type with two 1.5-meter double beds was perfect. It was also an executive room, which meant executive privileges that were very convenient. The hotel has 54 floors in total, and the front desk agent, Cyndi, was very kind and gave us a room on the 53rd floor. The view was amazing, with both Gulangyu Island and sea views. The only minor drawback was that part of the view from the room faced an opposite building, but perhaps that's just how this room type is. There's a shopping mall downstairs, so you don't have to leave the building to eat. The Yanwu Bridge Observation Deck is right outside the entrance, and Shapowei is also quite close. If you walk a bit further, there's a beach. The location is fantastic!

I booked a luxury sea-view room, which was spacious, starting from 50 sqm. It featured panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, offering an unobstructed view of Gulangyu's red roofs, Yanwu Bridge, and the entire ocean right from the bed. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. My favorite feature was the bathtub by the window, where I could soak while enjoying the direct sea view – the ambiance was incredible! The bathroom was well-equipped with double sinks, an electric toilet, and a walk-in closet. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and housekeeping cleaned meticulously every day. There was even a thoughtful turndown service in the evening. A great experience! 👍🏻

Perched on the upper floors of the Twin Towers, this hotel boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of Gulangyu Island and Yanwu Bridge. The bathtub by the window creates an incredibly atmospheric seaside experience. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the toiletries are high-end. Downstairs, you're directly connected to the commercial district and Shapowei. The service is attentive, and the high-altitude infinity pool and cloud-top restaurant are incredibly photogenic. The sea views are among the best in Xiamen. If your budget allows, it's definitely worth a stay.

Going through a divorce 'cooling-off' period, I decided to take a solo trip to clear my head and booked this hotel – and it was truly excellent. Why was it so good? Let me explain a few points: First, the location is superb. It's convenient for enjoying sea views and strolling along Shaweipo. It should also be close to Gulangyu, but unfortunately, my trip there was canceled due to Typhoon Bavi, which is a major regret from my journey. Second, the hotel's decor is high-end and elegant, with excellent facilities. The aesthetic is sophisticated, and they even prepared a welcome ceremony as per my request. Third, the service was impeccable. It was only after coming to the south that I realized how meticulous and thoughtful Southern hospitality can make you feel at home. I'm a stickler for details, and they really delivered. There were friendly staff members to help with luggage, assist with getting in and out of cars, and anything I needed was promptly provided. I developed tonsillitis after arriving and requested ice for a cold compress; when my friend visited, they needed disposable slippers; and when I couldn't figure out how to use the iron, housekeeping came to assist. Early check-in and late check-out, while generally offered by five-star hotels, also provided great convenience. Fourth, the overall experience was fantastic, and the breakfast was plentiful. After a bath, the bed was incredibly comfortable for sleeping. For breakfast, they had Eggs Benedict, which filled me up completely. I also want to praise the front desk ladies – each one was beautiful, gentle, and graceful. Just seeing them was a pleasure, haha (P.S. I'm a girl). That's it, it was just too good, I'm at a loss for words. While choosing photos, I remembered a few more things: the turndown service, the small desserts in the evening, and the room cleaning were all delightful touches.

The Conrad City View Twin room exceeded my expectations! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Xiamen city, with distinct charm both day and night. The room is spacious, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the location is convenient with attentive service. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay!
