Medusa Hotel Sydney

The phrase "all show and no substance" perfectly describes this hotel. Upon entering the room, I was horrified to find an old slipper and an old bottle left behind by the previous guest. Not only were there fruit flies while I slept, but there were also cockroaches – something rarely encountered in normal hotel stays. How can such a hotel have a 4.7 rating? It's incredibly misleading. A night costing over a thousand yuan could have bought me a stay at the Shangri-La that same day. They even gave me a plush toy (pictured in third picture), which I didn't take. A hotel should at least be clean and hygienic, not resort to these fancy tricks. Avoid this place!

This is a hotel that feels like both a hotel and a guesthouse. The decor is warm and cozy, with a girly vibe, but there's no elevator and the hallways are narrow, which isn't ideal for someone like me who prefers spacious and convenient accommodations. The location is quite convenient; it's within walking distance of the opera house. Fruit is delivered in the morning and evening. It's a unique hotel.

It's compact and well-located, with high room utilization and good value for money. There are two issues: first, it lacks a trash can; second, the digital lock isn't secure, making me feel like someone might break in at any moment.

Because of Australia's terrible visa service, I was ultimately unable to go. My friends stayed there instead, and they said the hotel was new, in a good location, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming—definitely worth a visit.

Basically, the room was spacious and clean, but there were bugs because of the season.
