Hamsa House

The Hotel California was very clean and modern, and the staff at check-in were also very nice. It's located in the heart of Las Ramblas, making it a great place for traveling and getting around. I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it was truly, truly wonderful.

Great location. But noisy – very busy area. Great amenities, clean, room was fantastic :) Check-in at the other hotel was no problem either.

I highly do not recommend this hotel. Check-in requires using another hotel's services, and the hotel is located in a narrow alley in the old town, making it very difficult to find. You can't drive right to the door; you have to drag your large suitcase around. There are no permanent staff members; housekeeping is only done on a schedule. We stayed three nights and were only cleaned once. We could only use wet towels on the floor. The only slightly convenient feature is the microwave and washing machine in the room.

A very nice location in the heart of the bustling Gothic Quarter. It's fairly new, clean, has everything you need, and has good plumbing. Don't expect great views, and as is typical in the Rambla area, it can get a bit noisy in the evenings. Otherwise, it's a great value.

For our family of four traveling to Barcelona, ​​the location was incredibly convenient as it is right next to Plaça Reial! The bedding was clean and nice. Since it is a hotel in a busy area, there is quite a bit of noise from the building next door in the early morning, but I wore earplugs and slept soundly.

The room was very well-equipped; you couldn't want for anything. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, the location excellent, and the service very professional. I would definitely stay again! 👏
