Amora Beach Resort Phuket

A truly, truly, truly beautiful resort in every sense of the word. I highly recommend it in terms of the rooms and the view. Best of all, there is a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby.

Great hotel! Direct access to the beach is so convenient. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the service is good. Highly recommended!

The room's air conditioning worked very well, and the swimming pool was clean. Since most of the guests were foreigners, it wasn't crowded at all during the National Day holiday. The beach is beautiful, and the breakfast was great too. We arrived early on the day of check-in and were allowed to check in a little past 1 PM, thumbs up!

The hotel is located right on the fine sandy beach. The breakfast buffet was extensive with something for everyone. Unfortunately, the beds are a bit hard despite the mattress topper.

To sum it up: in terms of value for money, this hotel is the best in the area. Cleanliness, housekeeping, the rooms themselves, the staff, and the food are all great. There are a few minor issues, but nothing to worry about. I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Mr. Walker. He is a true professional with international experience who has put together an exceptional team. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! PS We stayed for 14 days in total, then flew to Kuala Lumpur for 5 days and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental (which is a higher class), and tomorrow we're heading back to Amora for another couple of weeks upon returning to Phuket.

We stayed in building 8, which is a bit old. Previously, we stayed in building 4 and liked it much more. Here, we had a view of a construction site, and there was a damp and moldy smell in the room. The hotel itself is excellent, but the experience largely depends on which room and building you get. Breakfasts, pools, and the beach are all top-notch. A downside is the slippery tiles in the children's pool. Kids naturally want to run around in that area, and it's unsafe. My child fell and hit their head hard. The design of the children's area bottom was not well thought out.

The room was newly renovated, but the front desk assigned me to a room next to a building that was still under renovation, so there was a smell every time I walked by. Other than that, the hotel was pretty good – it's large, and the breakfast was fine. It's right on the beach, and you can even rent surfboards. I recommend Uncle Chan for rentals, his prices are very fair.
