The location, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. However, it was smaller than I expected. The private bathroom would have been a welcome addition. Accommodation in Madrid is incredibly expensive, so it's worth considering carefully. In any case, I had a satisfactory stay.

We just stayed at AC Cartagena, and overall we had a really good experience. The location was excellent, close to everything, and perfect for exploring the city on foot. The parking situation was definitely interesting. You have to use a small car elevator to get to the garage, which was super tight, but luckily we had rented a small car so it worked out fine. The hotel itself was very nice. Our room was on the 5th floor with a good layout and a nice balcony, though the view wasn’t anything special. Breakfast was decent—you can order eggs, and they have the standard buffet items to go with it. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. This hotel is super close to the cruise port. Overall, a solid stay in a great location. Recommend it for sure!

A new hotel from the Mariott Group. Nice rooms and bathroom well thought out. Friendly staff and helpful. Food was excellent in restaurant and nice cocktails too. Tried a new one, New York Sour, which the Columbian bartender introduced me to. We stayed for 6 nights and were very happy. The hotel is perfectly situated for everything.

The hotel has recently been completely renovated and one or two teething problems are inevitable. The garage probably does not take SUVs, for example. The superior room we had (509) was spacious and quiet and the bed was enormous. The balcony was also enormous, with some great views, but curiously bare and lifeless. The bathroom and attendant facilities were excellent. We did not try the restaurant but the bar was comfortable and cosy, if overpriced; obviously cheaper alternatives are to be found mere metres away. Our sole problem came with our arrival; we had booked through Central de Reservas (I do not recommend doing so!) and the receptionist could not find our booking details on the system, despite our having a confirmation sheet with the hotel’s name, address and a booking number. After a fraught 10 minutes or so, the receptionist (despite having to deal alone with two other arriving clients) satisfied himself as to our legitimacy and handed us our keys.

Beautiful hotel in the city center of Cartagena. However the room was spacious, the 2 persons bed was only 1.50 cm x 200cm. Due to this very small bed me and my girlfriend have hardly slept. Me and my girlfriend are average size..

This hotel is overpriced with very small rooms. You have to scrape along the wall from bed to get out. The balcony has a huge step up with absolutely basic furniture. The breakfast is terribly overpriced for what it is. You can walk a hundred yard across the road and get a much superior breakfast for half the price. The parking is fine if you have a tiny car that can fit in the lift to take you down. We had to park in a public carpark as our quite small car didn't fit. Staff are lovely, cleaners great. Nobody uses the very small bar and nothing goes on in the evenings. Location is, however, fantastic.

Great stay! The hotel and staff are lovely. The parking is super handy. The breakfast was nice and the rooms are spacious and comfy. And you can’t beat the location! Would definitely recommend
