ibis Styles Nancy Laxou

We booked this Hotel as the website stated there was a restaurant on site. On checking in we were told the restaurant was closed that evening. later on, we decided we would have a drink at the bar before going out to eat. there was nobody serving and no one on reception, so we left. we returned and tried the bar again., no staff anywhere. Breakfast in the morning was like a "cattle market" It was extremely busy with a long queue and people pushing in front of you, shoving chairs out of the way! What a nightmare. I would like to suggest that the coffee machine is moved away from the food station to enable people to just get their coffee and not join the food queue. Not the normal experience of an Ibis Styles.

Friendly staff, good shower, good enough bed. Had a plan that included dinner, which was good enough as well. Only downside is a malfunctioning air con heating up our room in stead of cooling it down

Super friendly and efficient personnel. Good location, near the motorway, but quiet. Nice, spacious rooms and great beds. The hotel seems to be undergoing some renovations, but we were not bothered by the works. Parking is available (should be big enough, but some visitors are not really social minded, but that's not the hotel's fault of course). Breakfast: the choice is limited but the food is good and is regularly replenished. Restaurant: limited menu, but everyone found something to his liking and the quality was more than ok, certainly value for money. As we were only there for one evening/ night, it didn't really matter that it was not an extensive menu.
