Lake Hotel

I booked this hotel for a 'hocance' (hotel vacation) and even though check-in was at 3 PM, they allowed me to check in early because the cleaning was finished, which was great! The location was a bit inconvenient, about a 10-minute walk, but it wasn't too far off the beaten path. I'd definitely consider coming back for another 'hocance' when I visit Lotte World again. They warned me that there might be some stray hairs because it was a preliminary cleaning, which made me a bit worried, but the cleanliness was actually excellent, and the bathroom was very spacious!

I was looking for a hotel close to the concert venue and at a good price, and it turned out to be much better than I expected!! ㅠㅠ The front desk staff were friendly, the room was in good condition, and the water pressure was especially great!! I'd definitely book this hotel again if I travel to the area in the future ❤️

The front desk staff were kind. My only concern regarding security is that the elevator can be used without a key card. The bathroom smelled bad; I think the odor of sewage was coming up from the toilet.

The facilities are great, but most importantly, I love that there are so many good restaurants nearby. It's also easy to catch a taxi, and the Seokchon Lake is right in front for a nice walk. Kkanbu Chicken is on the first floor.

My requests sent via email to the hotel were completely ignored. When I checked in, I found my room was right in front of the elevator, so it was incredibly noisy. The window frame was faulty, letting in a lot of outside noise, which made it hard to sleep. The shower drain in the bathroom didn't *drain* properly and there was a bad odor coming from it. Also, the towels provided were frayed and one was smelly and discolored, looking dirtier than my own rags at home. I was quite disappointed. Since it was just for one night and I was tired, I just put up with it and slept. I left feeling utterly disappointed.

I stayed for one night with my child while visiting Lotte World. It's about a 13-minute walk to Jamsil Lotte World, and there are restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, which was very convenient. The bed was super soft, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious, which I really liked.
