I've never experienced a stay quite like this.
On the very first night, I discovered a large hole in the bedsheets. Given that the hotel is new, opening in 2026, why would the sheets already be damaged? (See photo) There was no view outside the window, just air conditioner condensers. I could overlook that, but on the second day, after returning to the hotel at 5 PM, intending to rest, I opened the door to find the room hadn't been cleaned. A letter on the floor stated there was a plumbing issue and requested us to change rooms. I booked three consecutive nights at the same hotel precisely to avoid repeatedly packing and unpacking, but this was a huge disappointment.
After changing rooms, the new door was incredibly difficult to open. When staff helped us, they had to tap the key card and then forcefully shove the door open with their shoulder. For the next two days, every time we entered or exited, we had to use our shoulders to force the door open.
The bathroom water pressure was problematic, fluctuating between hot and cold. Additionally, the TV signal reception was poor; it frequently went into standby mode and needed restarting. (See photo).
On the morning of the third day, after going out and returning to the hotel at 5:30 PM, I again found the room hadn't been cleaned. Another similar letter was on the floor. Oh my, were we going to have to change rooms again? The letter offered two complimentary drinks as an apology.
We then called customer service to inquire about why the room hadn't been cleaned. They replied that too many rooms needed cleaning, and they couldn't get to ours. But it was almost 6 PM at the time, and I didn't see any cleaners busy at work.
So, we went to the front desk. The front desk staff said it was because we hadn't pressed the "clean light button" to request cleaning.
Finally, the customer manager offered a complimentary car ride to the airport as an apology.
On the morning of the fourth day, we went to the restaurant for breakfast. There wasn't much variety, and the pork skewers I ordered were undercooked (See photo). After I informed a staff member, they offered a small plate of fruit as an apology. The breakfast selection was limited, so don't have high expectations.
At HKD 1200 per night (including breakfast, non-refundable), the overall value for money was extremely low. I will not return to this hotel. I initially chose this hotel because I saw many guests giving it a perfect 10-star rating and numerous positive reviews, but my experience was completely different. Everyone should judge for themselves.
P.S. Whether it was the two complimentary drinks, the free car ride, or the small plate of fruit (we didn't accept any of them), the consecutive issues were extremely disappointing. We weren't asking for extra compensation; we simply hoped that management would seriously address the various aspects of their operations and enhance staff training to truly provide heartfelt service.
