We first stayed at Ocean Villas about six years ago and found it an excellent value for clean, basic accommodations near the beach.
This time, we found the facility had gotten a nice exterior facelift, and the rooms were as before clean and serviceable. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Rooms have good-sized refrigerators, microwaves, sinks, and basic dishes. Beds are comfortable. Some rooms are much smaller than others for the same number of guests. Our room had only one small bedside lamp for lighting, though we found a second small reading lamp in the closet. There's a nice pool area with lounge chairs. There is no housekeeping (though one can have towels replaced by leaving them outside), and the office is only open briefly around check-in and check-out times (lockbox arrangements are made for those arriving later). Unfortunately, the price has increased significantly, while the facilities and service remain at the budget-hotel level, so the value for the money is not as good as in the past.
