Hotel Pod Wawelem

The room was spacious, clean, and the view from the window was great. However, there was nothing around. I thought about where to eat, so I walked outside, but there was nothing there. I had no choice but to try to have dinner in the hotel, but there were many guests, so I just ordered a beer and went to sleep. In the morning, I had to leave early, so I asked to have a sandwich instead. Also, tickets were sold out at the hotel, so I couldn't buy one. If you're using the tram or bus, I recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.

The good location and helpful staff are the biggest advantages of this hotel. I wouldn't recommend the standard single room – it was very small and overlooked the air conditioning units. Breakfast could be improved at a modest cost by offering more fruit and vegetables, and increasing the amount of ground coffee in the coffee machine (the nozzles practically pour water...).

The hotel is located in the city center, just at the foot of Wawel Castle, and it is very convenient to visit the old town. The view from the sky bar on the roof is great. The breakfast is very rich, it is recommended to enjoy it slowly early in the morning.
